I think until fairly recently I had him pegged as, for the most part and with everyone fit, a great rotation option. If we're playing a CL final with everyone fit and firing (ie unlike Bobby atm) I'm starting Jota. What a buy.

He's getting there, I was expecting him to be a bit streaky when he came here, but he's been pretty hot the whole time and its not fluke.

You reminded me of a situation about 15 years ago, my son is right footed & I was training him to kick with his left foot. Anyway he’s getting better with his left & he’s playing a match & he’s scored a few goals & he completed his hat trick & I sensed something was different & I realized he’d scored a belter with his left foot. He was as shocked as me when I pointed it out but it had become natural for him. Anyway, Jota , yeah he’s exceeding my expectations

Sly dig at Mo. But having gone through SB's son's experience I went through the same in my younger days many decades ago. Now all my footballing friends think I'm left footed which I'm not. I was forced to learn because one of my old mates completely sussed me out and would always push me out to my left. Took nearly a decade but useful even today.

I am as good with my left as I am with my right too. But in my case years of practice hasn't improved either foot.
