Thanjk you.

The 28-year-old has insisted he is happy at Liverpool and would like to stay for as many years as the club want.
“I’m really happy and I have been like this since the first day I arrived,” Diaz told Colombian channel Telemundo Deportes when asked about how long he envisaged remaining at Liverpool.
“I’ve always been very calm and I have really just been enjoying the football played by this great team, being a part of this.
“We will be talking, the talk about it (his future) will happen. For me, I’d stay for as long as possible.
“It also depends on the club, it all depends on the details. They’re all details that are sorted out separately. But I am very calm, very happy and I am enjoying the Premier League.”
I was a bit unsure about his future as he can frustrate but if you look at his season he’s been very good for the most part. Great start, dropped off in the middle but is finishing strong. Maybe that drop happened when he was shifted to the middle and had to learn a new role. But overall he’s been good and definitely worth keeping as he can cover two roles.
Between Gakpo and Diaz it’s a strong left side. Move on Jota and Nunez and make sure those new players are top quality.

What’s good is the left side is contributing quite nicely so we aren’t over reliant - like the old days when if oppo were keeping Salah quiet then Mane would score and vice versa. We just need that reliable 9.
Diaz has done really well through the middle also.
I dunno... his all round play has not been great, and he looks far to weak to play up front. I think he looks better cutting in from the left. Still probably the best finisher in the side, but I think we could look to upgrade him at some point.
I dont think having him and Salah both in the team is very effective as neither has any pace.
In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.
Diaz is a baller but I think last season was his max. I'd sell on now. Cody probably has more goal return from that right side and looks like we are after a new striker which he most certainly isnt.
Unless an offer you can’t refuse comes in keep him on his current deal and let him go in two years for free or sell next year for a good fee. No need to upgrade him as he’s at his peak right now and won’t get any better so makes no sense. Then Gakpo will be in his peak and you get a younger player to challenge him. The club has shown they are happy for certain players or leave on a free when it makes sense financially not to renew. That is why there is this talk, Diaz would like to go if he can but will be professional and stay while the club is happy for him to stay but will sell for the right price. Win win for the club really.
And while people may say that’s not good for players and keeping them happy he’s been looking to go to Barcelona for a couple years, it goes both ways. Players use the club so let’s be ruthless and not **** around anymore. You can’t just bump someone’s pay to make others happy. It’s how you renew the squad and it keeps the team at the the at the top. As much as I didn’t like him Ferguson knew how to do this. And he’s not on £50,000 like people think. That’s been shown to be wrong and he’s on about £150,000 or something.
Edwards doesn’t mess around so expect to see a bit more ruthlessness from the club. I said it recently in another chat about this stuff that he’s done it before with players like Gini and wanted to move Henderson on for Endo Fernandes but Klopp had taken more control and we got stuck with a midfield that couldn’t run anymore instead of gradually changing things each season and future planning. Just look at the current keeper situation since he’s come back in and Hughes has been around.
