Has never been the same player since that prick at arsenal ****ed his knee up. He was absolutely electric before that.Originally posted by peterbread View PostIf he was younger you’d see him having a chance but he’s at an age where he should be at his peak but he’s just hasn’t gone on with what he showed when he first signed especially when you see what Gakpo has done this season."When a man insults my country I insult him, by taking his woman" Tony Yeboah

We desperately need someone with actual pace out wide and up front.
Other than Darwin, none of our side will blow past people and have the pace to keep in front.
Watching their two fullbacks eat up ground like it was nothing whilst chasing down Diaz and Salah (who are supposed to be our quick players) should've opened the eyes of the manager & transfer committee."When a man insults my country I insult him, by taking his woman" Tony Yeboah

I'd love us to sign Karim Adeyemi from Dortmund, he even as the same clown hairstyle!Originally posted by Harv View PostWe desperately need someone with actual pace out wide and up front.

after Owen and Torres Im always wary of players whos game is built on pace, ie one injury away from a different player, however i didnt watch the game so that might be unfairOriginally posted by Harv View PostWe desperately need someone with actual pace out wide and up front.

I like how he dribbles and carries the ball but he lacks end product. He reminds me of Steve McManaman - you feel if he could score goals from the positions he gets himself into he would be world class, but he can't and his decision making is quite poor. I agree on the point that he doesn't looks as good as when we signed himThe only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I actually thought he played well, he's the only player in the team capable of taking defenders on and repeatedly (successfully) does it
Agreed the end product was poor but I think that was as much down to Jota not being in the box - we had very little presence up top
as somebody else said, teh PSG forwards (including the two subs they brought on) are all pacey and direct and all capable of taking defenders on

Diaz talking about staying and a new contract.
The 28-year-old has insisted he is happy at Liverpool and would like to stay for as many years as the club want.
“I’m really happy and I have been like this since the first day I arrived,” Diaz told Colombian channel Telemundo Deportes when asked about how long he envisaged remaining at Liverpool.
“I’ve always been very calm and I have really just been enjoying the football played by this great team, being a part of this.
“We will be talking, the talk about it (his future) will happen. For me, I’d stay for as long as possible.
“It also depends on the club, it all depends on the details. They’re all details that are sorted out separately. But I am very calm, very happy and I am enjoying the Premier League.”
I was a bit unsure about his future as he can frustrate but if you look at his season he’s been very good for the most part. Great start, dropped off in the middle but is finishing strong. Maybe that drop happened when he was shifted to the middle and had to learn a new role. But overall he’s been good and definitely worth keeping as he can cover two roles.
Between Gakpo and Diaz it’s a strong left side. Move on Jota and Nunez and make sure those new players are top quality.
