There's some odd hate online about Diaz and i'm not sure why.
He was at an event over Jota's funeral and he was photoed laughing. I mean it was a sponsor's event where he was doing a meet and great, not sure how he should have been behaving.
And now he's supposed to have handed in a transfer request. Yet, he's in Portugal at Jota's seven day wake (i didn't know that was a thing either), and that's a definite (he's been photographed there). Obviously those two events aren't mutually exclusive but it'd be weird.
There's a campaign of sorts going on, but ****'s knows why.Comment

I got that bit but wasn't sure if you knew (as it only broke last night or this morning) or if you were suggesting to trying to hijack that or what and that making it unlikely. He's a player who we had been linked with in the past and if he is moving to Spurs would presumably have been gettable but presumably we either don't want him or don't feel we need him regardless of the situation with Diaz.
For what it's worth I suspect Diaz will probably move this summer if we can persuade Barca or Bayern to stump up a suitable fee. He has said about a move to Spain previously and I have felt for a year that it will probably happen at some point. I suspect the club have been looking at potential replacements for a year or more so will have someone lined up.The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.Comment

I haven’t seen a lot of him but Kenan Yıldız can cover multiple positions in attack which fits the criteria of a young versatile forward the club is supposed to be looking for as well as a 9. I’m pretty sure he plays more on the left than anywhere else.Comment

Diaz - he deserves a pay rise if he's going to stay here, but it's odd - 28 with - is it 2 years to run? I mean the club is being charitable if they do give him a pay rise for the last 2 years, to be honest. Not saying he doesn't deserve it - it just doesn't make commercial sense when you already have a contract, so if we are seeing him linked with other clubs for an immediate transfer, I think that's understandable as it's the only option his agent really has to achieve his aims.Really?Comment

Does he deserve a pay raise? There was lots floating around about him 'only' being on £55k or £70k a week. If that were the case you would say he was underpaid, but there was someone saying that was BS, and he was on £140-150k which seems fair. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.Comment
