He's really coming on. His accuracy is improving all the time, been playing very well the last few games, snatches at the ball far less. He seems a touch more at ease now I think. He's making a real difference and if he can keep this going in the run in he could be the difference we're looking for. Last few goals have been fantastic.Experimental music, Metropolitan foodstuffs, Mexican wrestler art, London suburbia, wry whimsy, fansy pants flim flam lad

The support staying with him when he struggled was massive.
I was at the Europa game where he went in on goal rounded the keeper and hit the post for Gravenberch to score the follow up.
The crowd were chanting Nunez after the goal despite his miss. Must be massive for confidence to know 60k supporters have your back.
Whereas everything was hitting the post earlier in the season, everything is flying in now
Modifying post.

He was never as "bad" as people thought.
The main difference is he's scoring more consistently. Obviously that's a huge difference, but the point is that earlier in the season he missed so many opportunities because he did so well to make those opportunities in the first place. Eventually, he was going to start putting them away. Even when not scoring he was troubling teams massively and playing his part in pushing us to the top of the table, when many thought we'd do well to get a EL spot.
He did have a rough couple of weeks when frustrations got the better of him and affected his performance, but it's worth remembering he started the season strongly. In his 3rd sub appearance, he got those two goals against Newcastle, returning 4 goals and 5 assists in a 7 game run, despite only starting 4 games. He also had that excelled relationship with Salah which carried over from preseason.
He was playing well and it was clear as day he was just extremely unlucky not to be scoring many more. But apparently he missed an easy chance against Luton and it proved everyone right that he is **** and that 'fanboys' are deluded if they ever think he'll come good. As what often happens, history was getting rewritten too, he was **** at Benfica too, had one fluky season which now counted for nothing.
Probably shouldn't have replied at all, every time do, something catastrophic happens in the next game.
