When he gets his radar in he’s going to be quite a prospect he gets 2 to 3 big chances every game.

      He’s fun to watch

He's an absolute joy. It'll be better when he converts 1 in three though. I saw him pre game shooting practice vs villa and he was honking then again. Missed all three.

Just needs time and patience I reckon (and some Klopp loving).

From This Is Anfield FB player review.

            Nunez 8/10

Destroyed Faes the first time he had a chance to run at him, to such an extent that the garbage centre-back went and netted a brace in his own net. Great run and clipped finish hit the post to lead to the second, which was buried by the Belgian.

Gorgeous ball through for Salah’s chance and then should have scored twice himself, but the chaotic manner of his final third finishing continued and he put one over, a header at the keeper and a pass to Salah on the break too short.

All of his own making, though, which highlights how he was again a constant danger and presence.

            80% superb, 20%… not so.

I think pretty much everyone has acknowledged that he played very well but should have scored & he did play great & he should have scored. There's no witch hunt here, everyone seems to recognize the guy gets 2 or 3 golden chances in every game. The fact he is getting them is a positive, missing more big chances than any other player in the league though... is not a positive.

He causes chaos, he is not elegant and imo his technique won't improve and I couldn't care less once his finishing does. If he can become a bit more polished in front of goal and gain that composure needed to be a match winner... he could post up insane numbers.

Anyways, I thought he was great last night and was a pity it wasn't capped off with a goal.

Not often you finish outside the final third.

His technique is fine. He has all the attributes bar composure. It’s obvious with the right coaching he’ll be up there. He’s got more mobility than Haaland for example, who’s more cold blooded.
                    Are we winning?

If we had not won, I think people would be more upset. Id say 7/10.

Sometimes feel like he is going top bins and net burster on every chance. Salah could teach him a thing or two about it not mattering what it looks like when the ball crosses the line/hits the back of the net.

Salah misses chances as well - obvs - but historically Salah is ice cold in front of goal.

Some of his touches and approach play are sublime, it's a bit of an odd criticism. It reminds me a bit of when every speedy footballer who wasn't fancied 'didn't have a football brain', because a pundit commentator said that about Walcott or Wright-Phillips at the time.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Like sure, he's not Messi, dribbling or weaving his way through players for fun. But thats not his game. Not sure why people feel the need to repeatedly bring it up every time he doesn't control a ball perfectly etc. Mo ****s up touches multiple times a game and cant dribble around players anymore to save himself (still tries and fails constantly though).

And lets not forget Mane, he had one of the worst first touches ive seen most of the time. The ball would literally bounce off him. He just had such quick acceleration he'd knick the ball away from the defender before they got to it

This is all just social media opp fan drivel that some fans are lapping up. The new one is he's "missed the most chances of all forwards". He's also HAD the most chances of all forwards. Its all relative. To miss them you have to have the chances in the first place. ALL strikers miss chances galore. That tap-in merchant cunt at City that everyones wanking off about misses loads too. Scores a tap in at the back post though and everyone forgets the ones he missed.

The fact of the matter is, he's been very good so far in a side that has been underperforming and injury ravaged all whilst acclimatising to a new country, new teammates, new language etc. He's creating and scoring goals and proving a proper handful for defenders. What more do people ****ing want?
"When a man insults my country I insult him, by taking his woman" Tony Yeboah

"looking through your posts since 2007 and what you have consistently written about my football team I have come to the conclusion that if you had 1 more brain cell you would be a plant .. your father was a hamster and your mother smells of elder berries, I fart in your general direction ..." Nicey

Only a few would be blaming Nunez though the blame should have been aimed at Hendo & Robbo for instance or Mo for his missed chances

Especially if said play leads to another player scoring and us getting the win.

He's like a forward playing Sissoko!
