Hatton vs Urango - who wins?

Hatton looked nervous today.

Don't think he was nervous myself, Hatton often has a disinterested/wish I was somewhere else look on his face at the press conferences and weigh ins. A look at the fighter's eyes just before the bell goes will give a better indication of their mindsets.

It is not as though he has not seen how Urango is built and watched the tapes of him fight. Urango is a little brick ****house who hits hard with both hands and takes hits well. Hatton needs his A game against him, and I would be surprised if Hatton tries to bring anything less.

The same applies to Juan, he needs his best game to take Hatton.

I'm expecting a war, just a matter of how long it takes for the touchpaper to be lit. I think Hatton is going to try and impose himself early doors.

From what I've seen on tele Hatton apparently plans to box Urango for the first few rounds like he did against Tackie and Olivera just to feel Urango out before steaming in. That's sensible IMHO.

I agree, which is why I think he will try to impose himself early. Working a jab and boxing off of it. Using it to frustrate Urango and set himself up as the main man so to speak.

This might sound a bit daft but he's maybe a bit to big for a light-welter and having to squeeze himself down to 140lbs could possibly have an effect on his stamina as the fight progresses.

He's certainly a big guy though and will be a dangerous opponent. My biggest hope is that Hatton puts him in his place early on without getting any cuts. If Urango opens up a cut above either of Hattons eyes early on with one of those right or left hooks it could be a very long night for Ricky.

Thought it was clear who I am picking. Urango to stop Hatton, I have been thinking that since the fight was announced and I have seen nothing to change my mind since.

Seen a lot of Urango down the years, mostly in the unpaid ranks, enough to make me think that he will be a world class fighter in time.

I'm not sure to be honest. Hatton was very big up until about 2-3 months ago but he always seems to be big in between fights. He weighed in at 9 stone 13 lbs at the weigh in so he's obviously made it it quite easily.

As for looking gaunt...I think Hatton looks in the best shape I've seen him for a long time.

Yes that's right now I remember. Urango looks a big lad and he will undoubtedly carry some power but from what I've seen, which I admit is very little, he looks quite slow. Would I be right in saying that?

If you`re going for Urango............i`ll go for Hatton...............whoever wins gets to pick any drink he wants in March
