Nah they hate each other and they will both wanna get one over on each other and i don't think their fans would accept it. Also the Aussies want revenge for the 3-0 whitewash ODI matches they had before the world cup. Also in the interviews after the Sri Lanka game the Aussies were suprised and slated them for resting key players so can't see them doing that.

Anyone see where Clarke interviewed Glenn and was asking him about ppl saying he was to old and past it and New Zeland replied with Styrus interviewed Oram asking why he got out when they only needed 2 more runs to win.

Just can't see them resting players for this, too big of a game.

And Scotland & Ireland, one of our most stylish captains ever was a very broad Glaswegian!

Yeah but they're not called that though are they?

When they won the Ashes they were called that. Not now.

TBH I think our problem stems from NOT picking the Test team. They are our best players and therefore should be good enough in limited overs. We pick so called 'one day specialists' and they are no friggin good

Agreed. Cook should be in as should Hoggard, and Harmison shouldn't have been allowed/encouraged to retire.

Nixon should be bombed out, as well as he's done, as he's not far off 38. Prior should come in - a wickie who can bat.

Vaughan should go, Flintoff should move up the order (or down and treated as a bowler), Strauss should open with Cook, KP at number 3, Bopara moved up to maybe 5 (with Colly at 4)....wholesale changes are needed to our approach.

We should go all out to get Tom Moody in as coach. We need that Aussie winning mentality.

It's a total embarrassment, as I (and most of us) predicted.

Best moment of the World Cup so far. South African reserve player Telemachus is standing with a cameraman and gets him to zoom in on some balloon-titted Aussie bird.

                          Well funny that

Even I'm shocked at how poor England have been today in what was basically a 'winner-takes-all' match

Game over, SA win by 9 wickets with 15 overs to spare.

At least we lived up to our world ranking of 6!
