                  Don't think it's right to speculate at this point mate.
                  But there was no sign of forced entry. Maybe Bob was in the habit of leaving his door unlocked, it would seem that he was a pretty trusting guy or maybe it was someone he knew.

                          How would he know of a Pakistani betting mafia, they wouldn't necessarily be known to him. I think he would have exposed them at an early stage if he knew about it.
