Not sure how true that is
Dont think they actually did, but there were definate threats. The Military had to intervene.

I agree. He had no choice but resign and the sooner the Better

It's being reported that Woolmer's death is now being treated as 'suspicious'

The worst thing about this is it's not very surprising.

            Well.....

A mate of mine said right from the off that he reckons it could be suspicious. I was having none of it but it turns out he may have been right. That's why I'm not bowled over by this news, although frankly I find it hard to believe.

I am completely shocked by this latest development. I just hope it is not true.

I said that I hoped it wasn't on the World Cup thread as the news of his death broke.
I have to say, I suspected something untoward had gone on. I don't know why, just a bad feeling I had about it

A BBC radio reporter was today saying that the police have ruled out murder and that "suspicious" should not be equated with foul play.

Mind you I think the reporter might have been that self-aggrandising prick Mihir Bose so it could just be crap.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

What does suspicious mean then? Red Al?

                          Suicide?

                            Yes, Red_Al suspects everyone.

I think that's what they might have been getting at.

                              Oh

"Murder at the Cricket World Cup" sounded more exciting although awful.

ITV would probably make a drama out of it. I can imagine the pitch meeting: "Think Miss Marple meets Freddie Flintoff."
