Im not trying to jump and the bandwagon here having a go at you lol.
But Mayweather is one of the most technical fighters of this generation and many others. He comes very close to Roy Jones at his best in terms of technique and his defencsive work is excellent, can he really be faulted for that?.
Sure sometimes his fights look boring because he is so good defensively. But I dont think people should knock his style over it.
I still don't like his fookin' style. So, either you jump on that bandwagon, or you just have to agree that it's an opinion I'm entitled to have. :whatever:

      That's Fair Enough

My opinion is that Mayweather is one of the most underated fighters of all time. He did everything required of him and made it look easy. IMO That's the mark of a Genius. I think part of his arrogance is because of people not giving him the recognition he richly deserves

Is it your time of the month?
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

Has Jaco posted since the fight? I wondered if he was back and how he got on. It's always better when you see a fight live because you get a totally different perspective when you're there.

Jaco, in your opinion is Mayweather the best pound for pound out there now?
And how would Hatton fare against him? Cheers mate

He would school Hatton. I think it would be a total mismatch if it ever came about. Mayweather is still horribly underrated by many. He has the perfect blend of attributes, chin, heart, power, speed, skills, and confidence.

I think he may have been the best pound for pounder for the last two to three years to be honest.

I don't even think he went through his gears last Saturday, his movement and breathing all through the fight suggested he had an awful lot left in reserve if he needed it.

I think Oscar would beat Hatton as well, too big and too strong for Hatton, and if Hatton tried to box, Oscar would trump him there too.

I like Hatton as a fighter, but Mayweather is on different level to him.

whilst not wholly disagreeing with you I think Hatton is under rated as well, his workrate, style and sheer aggresive nature means he would give any body a hard time...just ask Kosta tzyu.
Would love to see either of these matches made.
(p.s - remember that at the time tzyu was rated as the best pound for pound fighter)

I agree, Mayweather has no equal at present. Many dont rate him, but his record shows that he's overcome every challenge placed before him very easily and very convincingly. You cant ask for more than that?

I think out of all the boxers in the world Mosely and Cotto would be the ones who could possibly cause him the most problems. If he fights on they're the two fighters I'd like to see him fight next
