Need about 100 from 10 overs - I think we may well have lost this one (controversial claim i know).

Sack Moores. Melt down Collingwood for scrap value.
        .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

                              Tendulkar punishes Lions with ton
Tour match, Chelmsford, day two: England Lions 413-8d v India 336-7

Sachin Tendulkar struck a sumptuous 171 as India ended day two at Chelmsford on 336-7, chasing England Lions' 413-8.

He shared a partnership of 140 with Yuvraj Singh (59) as India recovered from 14-3 after Graham Onions struck twice in his first over.

Paceman Onions trapped Wasim Jaffer lbw and had VVS Laxman caught behind before Dinesh Karthik fell to Stuart Broad.

Sourav Ganguly went for 14, skying a Chris Tremlett ball back to the bowler, before Tendulkar stamped his mark.

Tremlett twice saw Tendulkar offer sharp chances off his bowling but was dropped by Ravi Bopara at leg-slip and Owais Shah at gully, before finally become Onions' third wicket when he caught at deep mid-off shortly before stumps.

Teenage leg-spinner Adil Rashid bore the brunt of the Mumbai maestro's shot-making, Rashid's 12 overs going for 90, though he did not bowl as badly as his figures suggested.

Earlier, Tim Bresnan finished on 126 and Tremlett 32 as the hosts moved on from their overnight 379-8 with ease.

This three-day affair is the tourists' last warm-up before the first of three Tests against England gets under way on Thursday at Lord's.

Onions' wickets put him in the spotlight after fellow Durham seamer Steve Harmison became doubtful for the series opener by aggravating a hernia problem against Sussex.

Meanwhile Tendulkar was delighted to find form at the right time.

"I'm feeling very good. I wanted to get in plenty of good, quality practice before Lord's," he said.

"I had gone a couple of weeks without playing any kind of cricket, so this innings was important for me.

"It brought me back to reality, and I'm excited about the Test match coming up."

England squad: Michael Vaughan (capt), James Anderson, Ian Bell, Stuart Broad, Alastair Cook, Paul Collingwood, Steve Harmison, Matthew Hoggard, Monty Panesar, Kevin Pietersen, Matt Prior (wkt), Ryan Sidebottom, Andrew Strauss.

Just play Broad instead of Harmison, he is not a major part of the bowling attack, he is mainly ovr rated by many in the England set up, fcuk him off.
