Hopfully Ricky will deliver in front of the Americans.

Think i'm going to subscribe to Setanta for this fight. It'll be interesting to see what they do with the coverage.
last fight was a square picture, which was pretty crap. was looking forward to watching it on the widescreen.
slow build up to the fight with alot of repeat interviews. Sky has better coverage IMO.

'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

              Oh yeah, by the way.
I stuck two bets on for this fight, thought they were worth the punt.
Hatton to win in the 7th round @ 25-1
Hatton to win in the 8th round @ 25-1
              both available on skybet.

Just seen the Castillo Corales fight on Setanta in the build up to the HAtton fight, what a fight, Corales knocked out twice in one round and got a point deducted for spitting out his gum shield twice, then goes on to stop Castilo about a minute later, what courage.

"For his part, Hatton is delighted to have the respect of a boxing nation which has produced fighters such as Julio Cesar Chavez and Erik Morales.

And he will even have Marco Antonio Barrera carrying his belts into the ring on Saturday."

Whats all this about taken from BBC website I thought Shrek was bringing the belts down??

Both of them will be there, since it is boxing and not football, I would let Barrera carry them in.
Barrera is a good friend of Ricky, he has even stayed over at his for dinner in Manchester.

I've got a feeling Ricky Hatton is going to get beat - too many pints and too many pies!
                            We come not to play.

Hehe I have money on those rounds too, as well as the 6th and 9th.

The odds were much better on BET365, even now rounds 7 and 8 are 28-1.

For boxing bets I generally use 365 as they give better odds on fights normally.

Another bet to watch out for is on Saturday week. One of the giys I sparred for will be in action, and has odds of 3/1 to win. It is Henry Akinwande against Oleg Platov. They met last November when Platov won on a split decision, after both fighters had points deducted during an ill tempered bout in Germany, it will probably go the distance again, and I favour Akinwande to win this time on points.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.
