    Murray is out injured. Confirmed.

Can anyone stop Federer from lifting an historic 5th title ?

The lad looks like he needs a break.

    ...

Absolutely no, as long as he stays fit.

He made the decision after a session at the National Tennis Centre in Roehampton - and fortunately I was there!

There was a big session for coaches from throughout the UK in the indoor part of the complex and m'boy was asked to help out with a demo (along with a few others).

Brad Gilbert and Greg Rusedski were also there. Mr Gilbert lived up to his rep as a talker - and he's good.

We've been to Roehampton a few times now - and watching these chaps play is awesome.

Yesterday, also thanks to m'boy, we did a special tour of the AELTC and got to see Federrer and Nadal in action for a few mins before it pissed it down. M'boy nearly walked into LLeyton Hewitt. The latter didn't seem to be amused.

      It's been a tennis weekend....

I hope not. And I hope Henin doesn't win the women's.
I'm playing all the right notes. Not necessarily in the right order. I'll give you that, sunshine.

Henin is my favorite woman tennis player. Terrific ability and arguably the best in the business right now.

Federer didn't look 100% in Paris but he still got to the final. No one can stop a fit Federer from winning his fifth in a row and equal Borg IMO.

Henin is my favourite to win the women's title. Sharapova isn't fully fit yet after her shoulder injury but she can beat almost anyone on grass even that she isn't back to full fitness yet. Serena Williams could be a good bet.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I'd give Vaidisova a chance if she were five years older.

When I say "chance" I mean...
                  .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Sabatini! That reminds me of Emlyn Hughes! He used to drool over her non stop on QoS. I can just hear him saying her name!

Naomi Cavaday! Is this the best we can do? She needs to lose a couple of stone for a start so she can run! I'm in better shape and that's saying something!

Henman on court now and actually winning! His record this year is abysmal - just one 1st round victory.

Bored of it already to be honest.
