I can't seem to get the audio feed. Do you need to register or something?
All I keep getting are Vodafone and Norwich Union ads.
. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
Anyway, 2 hours of no commentary was difficult but it's still great to see. Live coverage now starting on Eurosport.

Looks like some of us misjudged Vinokourov's honesty.
Good ride by Rasmussen - it strengthens Rabobank having him and Menchov as real contenders for the overall. Mayo rode well as did Moreau, Valverde and Contador.
Still to early to tell who'll win but Rogers isn't going to win it. 3 T-Mobile riders out today.

Vinokourov will surprise as he's still recuperating from his fall, IMO. Kloden is very very strong and expect big things from him if they elevate him as the leader.
As for Rasmussen, he won't win the Tour as he's not good enough in the time trials. It has to be between Moreau, Mayo, Kloden, Valverde, Vinokourov and some outsiders.
I think you're right but, although better than Rasmussen, Valverde and Mayo aren't notable time-triallists either.
I agree, Kloden and Vinokourov aren't out of it yet. I'd say anyone in the top 13 could win it + Vino. Either of Pereiro and Zubeldia could podium too.

I noticed earlier that "Hors Categorie" does still exist - two HC climbs on Tuesday.

Kloden was fantastic today and he had to wait for Vino. This is the most open Tour for years. Valverde & Kloden are the favorites for me and as I said, I expect Vinokourov to improve in the next stages.
I think Astana think the same, otherwise there's no way they should have held him back to help his leader.

Yep and I think there are more HC climbs around the end of the week. Tuesday's final won't be on top of a climb unfortunately and by the time I get home the suspense will have gone.

That's what I was thinking. It's tough on Kloden anyway, as I think he has the potential to win it but he's been playing second fiddle to Ullrich and now Vinokourov.

He lost a ton of time yesterday and more today. He's not a climber, he's too big.
He worked on the front yesterday - he knew from the beginning his "dream week in yellow" was over.

Yes, although if he had stayed at T-Mobile he'd have been team leader. Maybe he doesn't want to be number one.
