When Hatton fought Collazo he was fighting a big Welterweight, a pretty good one at that. He, and his team, made mistakes leading up to that and his preperation was apparently not as good as it should have been.
The big advantage that Floyd holds over Hatton, apart from his speed and footwork, is his size and reach. He's 2 inches taller and his reach is 7 inches longer. Hatton will have no option but to try and make the fight happen up close. He would do anyway but he can't afford to give Mayweather an inch.
I know alot of people are backing Floyd and it's not hard to see why because the guy's one of the very best in the business in every sense however he does have weaknesses that have been exposed when he's been pressurised. He came close to defeat against Castillo a few years ago, infact many thought he did lose the fight, and that was because he couldn't cope with the pressure style of Castillo. He struggled against Oscar and Judah aswell when both fighters pressured him early on but he took over when they tired. Will Hatton be able to pressure Mayweather the way they did though and if he is able to will he tire? I'm not so sure he would tire.
I think both fighters can win it's just a question of who gets to fight their fight.
