If I can score tickets I'm going!

Don't buy flights to Vegas just yet because there's a rumor going around that the fight could be in The Staples Centre in L.A.

Ricky seems up for the fight anyway, he is determined to put Mayweather in his place, got to hand it to Ricky though, he doesn't like to hide at all, wont shy away from any fighter.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

        * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

I completely understand why people are saying that Mayweather will win but I have a feeling that Hatton might just pull this one off. Hatton is about the only man I would back to beat Mayweather. Not just because I'm a fan but for various reasons.

Junior Witter must be gutted. He's been going on about how he's better than Ricky etc... Yet Ricky's the one who's fighting Mayweather in Vegas whilst he's got a fight set up at The Doncaster Dome.

Yep, what he said Scot, Witter is an asshole. I would like Hatton to shut him up at some stage though, maybe in a couple of years before he retires.

Looking at the odds for this fight most of the bookies have Mayweather around 2/5 or 4/9 while they have Hatton 7/4 or 9/5

Mayweather heavy favourite with the bookies.

HAs Mayweather ever looked like he was struggling at Welterweight in a fight?.
TO be honest, I think them Mayweather odds are generous by the bookies.
Floyd is a natural Welterweight, Ricky is not, I think that will be a big factor.

                        Wishful thinking

I fear for Ricky on this one, I've seen him destroy quality fighters but Mayweather and 7 more lb's to put on without diminishing his overall stamina will be a real test.

Although I'd love him to knock Mayweather clean out with one of his 'rib ticklers'

thats why I took it back out
I think it is wishful thinking myself. Hatton has never convinced me at Welterweight, brave move by Hatton, just hope he gets rewarded for his bravery. It would be so sweet if ricky remained undefeated after the fight.

PBF didn't look too good against Golden Boy in the first half of their recent fight due to the pressure being put on him. If Ricky can sustain the pressure then he's got a decent chance of beating PBF in my opinion.

Just as an aside - I wonder what a certain Welshman of Italian extraction is thinking right now after news of this MEGA/SUPER fight has been announced?

Hasnt he only ever scrapped at that weight once?!

And this time he has far far more time to get prepared, I think too much emphasis is going on the extra 7lb....****, I **** 7lb!!

In truth Mayweather has to start as favourite (as Tsyzu did) but I just have this sneaking feeling that Ricky will have him! Regardless it wouldnt surprise me to see a rematch here as it just has to be a classic fight!!

Sharmba Mitchell, Zab Judah & Carlos Baldomir are all Welterweights Mayweather beat them all in world title fights.
I know what your saying though, and by natural, I mean, he didn't struggle to move up to the weight and win.
                                **** 7 lbs after a good curry
