England were absolutely murdered by the boks, and to be perfectly honest I don't think the boks even got out of third gear. If there weren't more games to come they would have stepped it up and really worked up a huge score.
England had no idea and never threatened....there was no game plan, and the Boks were just way too strong for the English to break down. I think Ashton has also shown how inept he is at coaching at this level and tactics.
Yes, England played poorly, but full credit to the Boks for their emphatic victory....

They didnt play that good, if they played at the top of their game they would of racked up 60 odd points
When you feel like you're done, you are not alone........
Stephen Larkham ruled out of today's game against Wales, big lose Gregan and himself work well together they have one of the best understanding in the game, just like ROG and Stringer
When you feel like you're done, you are not alone........
I'm sure this has been done already but what is France 2007 called while Wales and Scotland get to play their games at home??? What is that all about anyway?

I found this strange as well and unfair, but i think it maybe because the French football league is on and their was no stadiums where they could play.....thats what i think, but i could be wrong. Mostly if not all the stadiums they use are Football stadiums
Also i was wondering whats the point of the local i.e Ireland Wales,England and Scotland teams going over to france for a few weeks and setting up camp when they could easily just stay and train at home fly over to France the night before the match and play the game and come home after. This would be better for the players as been away from home and it drags on waiting for games each week and the mood in the camp just drops as has been reported today in the papers from Ronan O'Gara about the Irish camp. They are all locked away outside Bordeaux and cant get into the town and soak up the atmosphere

Fair point, could very well be the reason why. The northern hem teams are so poor it doesn't matter at this stage about morale - it's just excuses!!
I think politics has been involved in the venue decisions. France backed Wales' 1999 World Cup bid and got some matches played in France, this is probably pay back since Wales gave France backing for hosting this World Cup.
Wales 20-32 Australia
Errors and a poor start contributed to another defeat against Australia. We did better in the second half...we woke up and after Mortlock left the field, we showed more at the breakdowns. The last 15 minutes showed that we can put the best teams under pressure, we just need to be braver and take the game to the opposition earlier.
12 point defeat wasn't all that bad when you think about the score at half-time and the way the Aussies were playing at that time.
At least we scored points...
Play the Man of the Match game in the sticky thread!
