I caught a game when I was in America a few years ago. As with most sports it's always better when you are there and I really enjoyed it......although that could also have been because of the hot dogs, crisps, nuts and copious amounts of beer we got through during the games.

Florida Marlins for me
The wife and i caught agame when we were in San Fransisco last year. The amount of food we went through during the course of the game was immense.
Been following it for about 5 years, enjoy the game, got over to see a Dodgers game a couple of years ago and it was a great experience. Home run in bottom of 9th to send it to extra innings then a walk-off home run to win it in the 11th or something. The reception for the home runs was just the same as when someone scores a goal in a footie match, crowd on their feet cheering, clapping, strangers "high-fiving" each other.
That said the stadium was only two thirds full by the time the game finished.
I saw the Mets at Shea a few years back. Piazza hit the winner with a walk-off homer against the Marlins.
I can't say I follow it as closely as I'd like, but I do try and keep up with the Mets. It's cool to see the Yankies suffer whenever possible too of course.
Tigers are my AL team and the Mets are my NL team. If they ever met in the Series, it's Mets all the way. Been a fan since Gary Carter moved fro mthe Expos to help them win the Series in '86.
Friendship is like peeing on yourself: everyone can see it, but only you get the warm feeling that it brings.
I played baseball till i was 17, always been a Marniner's and BoSox fan. When Griffey and A-Rod left the Mariners my interest wained, so nowdays im strictly a BoSox fan.

"looking through your posts since 2007 and what you have consistently written about my football team I have come to the conclusion that if you had 1 more brain cell you would be a plant .. your father was a hamster and your mother smells of elder berries, I fart in your general direction ..." Nicey
I have played baseball for a couple of years, and been to an MLB game (White Sox)
So, yeah, I am a fan.
Oakland A's and Chicago White Sox are the teams I follow.
