I caught a game when I was in America a few years ago. As with most sports it's always better when you are there and I really enjoyed it......although that could also have been because of the hot dogs, crisps, nuts and copious amounts of beer we got through during the games.

          Florida Marlins for me

Been following it for about 5 years, enjoy the game, got over to see a Dodgers game a couple of years ago and it was a great experience. Home run in bottom of 9th to send it to extra innings then a walk-off home run to win it in the 11th or something. The reception for the home runs was just the same as when someone scores a goal in a footie match, crowd on their feet cheering, clapping, strangers "high-fiving" each other.

That said the stadium was only two thirds full by the time the game finished.

We live near the Nationals. I've taken my eldest two boys to four games. We'd love to see the Cubs win it this year. Failing that, the Red Sox.
I'm playing all the right notes. Not necessarily in the right order. I'll give you that, sunshine.

I saw the Mets at Shea a few years back. Piazza hit the winner with a walk-off homer against the Marlins.

I can't say I follow it as closely as I'd like, but I do try and keep up with the Mets. It's cool to see the Yankies suffer whenever possible too of course.

Tigers are my AL team and the Mets are my NL team. If they ever met in the Series, it's Mets all the way. Been a fan since Gary Carter moved fro mthe Expos to help them win the Series in '86.
