that was a sweet fight, i really hope calzaghe keeps to his word and retires within 12 months, preferably undefeated, and that the hatton vs mayweather & cotto vs mosely fights are anywhere as good as tonights!!
Also how the **** can anyone say that boxing is a finished sport and that cage fighting or whatever the **** its called is better! Bollocks to that i say.

Cage fighting is nowhere near the standard of Boxing. Boxing is, apart from footy ofcourse, my favourite sport.

One good thing that's happened to Boxing is that promoters have realised that big fights need to be made in order for the sport to stay at the top.

Hatton Vs Mayweather and Cotto Vs Mosely should be cracking fights. I personally can't wait for them.

I think he can make all the money he needs over here. You wouldn't get as many people into an American boxing event, would you?

To be fair. 400,000 PPV buys wouldn't match 50,000 people in one arena, would it? And he would probably not be on PPV, he would be on HBO B.A.D or HBO world Championship boxing.

yeah your probably right...he would probably get a bigger share of the spoils in Cardiff. Fair play to him....Emanuel Stewart said he should be considered the top 2 or 3 fighter in the world

who would be classed as No.1 or 2 do you think?

Mayweather probably No.1..but id hold judgement until Dec 9th, then id say Calzaghe No.2, Cotto/Hatton/an other No.3

Mayweather is number one P4P...until 08/12/07 that is.

Id grudgingly agree...No.2 though is defo Calzaghe for me, and to be fair after the 9th Dec he may well be No.1!!
Who would you put at No.2 at present?

Yeah Mayweather is # 1 then you have to throw Calzaghe/Hatton or Pacquiao into the mix.

Manny Pacquiao. That man is an absolute legend. If not him then maybe Cotto but Pacquiao just shades it for me.

I have a feeling that Mayweather is underestimating Ricky which could prove to be a big mistake. I think that Hatton will swarm Mayweather like he did Tszyu.

I don't think that the Hatton Mayweather fight is as cut and dried as some people think.

Hatton stands a very, very, good chance of winning this one.

Mayweather to me is amazing. He defense is so slick. Hatton has a chance but may have to do something special to win it. Can't wait for this fight

I have never thought the mayweather vs hatton fight is cut and dried, in fact I think that mayweather will be in for a big surprise on the night, of course mayweather isnt rated the best lb for lb fighter for nothing but id say that fight was 50/50. My opinion is that Hatton will somehow win. But ahead of pacqiao id say Calzaghe then hatton then...maybe, lets wait until next weekend, cotto.
