He'll fight Hatton at Wembley on a Sunday night in May regardless of the winner apparently.Originally posted by thesilverfoxlfc View PostDid i hear right that De La Hoya might be fighting the winner??
the build up programme that is on now i think i heard the interviewer say that he could be fighting the winner
This is a quote from Hattons lawyer who said negotiations are quite advanced.
The reason behind the Sunday fight time is that If it was on a Sunday night it would fit in with the Americans who like to watch their sport on a Sunday afternoon.
De La Hoya also wants to break attendance and Box Office records before he retires and apparently see's fighting Hatton at Wembley as the way to do it.Babel fanclub member # 4!!!

Superb fighter. He beat Sugar Shane Mosely last month. An absolute monster.
If I was Hatton I'd steer well clear but he'll have to fight him at some point if he wins on Saturday.
Floyd's been succesful in giving Cotto the wide bearth so far but if he wins on Saturday there'll be a hugle clamour for that fight.Babel fanclub member # 4!!!

No avoiding him for either of them i guess they both have a a re-match in the contractsWhen you feel like you're done, you are not alone........

The only way I can see a re-match is if it goes to points and there's a close decision. Even then if Mayweather wins he'll move on because it probably wont be written into his side of the bargain to give Ricky a re-match. He enters the Champion and if he stay's the Champion then that'll be it. If Hatton wins though I'm certain that there'll be a re-match clause but Floyd might have to come over here and fight to get it.Originally posted by thesilverfoxlfc View PostCheers mate

If the fight ends in KO either way then there'll be no need for a re-match.
Apparently Cotto will be ringside at the fight to make his intentions clear.Babel fanclub member # 4!!!

Yep, I've heard similar things. Expect someone from HBO talking to him before the matchOriginally posted by kurtangle01 View PostThe only way I can see a re-match is if it goes to points and there's a close decision. I think, and this is just my opinion, that Cotto is probably the best in the Welterweight Division.
He was starting to flag at Light-Welter and looked really weight drained but since he's moved up it looks like there's no stopping him.Babel fanclub member # 4!!!
