Alright bazza? Cheers for the phone call on Friday. You were right about the result, eh? I was hoping you'd got it wrong and Htton would outwork, out hustle and out punch Mayweather. It wasn't to be though and the better man won on the night.

You're right about Gatti aswell. Saturday was the best I've seen Floyd since his win over Gatti.

Ricky will be back though. Hopefully we see him fight Malignaggi in the New Year over in New York. I'd definitely head over for that one.

Maybe, but it left me $600 to get a ticket for the fight, did anyone else get in?

Believe it or not mate I was sat about 6 rows behind the band at the weigh in!!

I'm hoping Calzaghe and Hopkins can get it on in New York, we could meet up for a pint there.
6 rows behind I have some footage on my camcorder. I was wearing a grey beanie hat and a leather jacket.
Would have to see about the Calzaghe fight, although I wouldnt be surprised if the fight didn't materialise.

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

RedJedi got a ticket, they were going for $300 at the box office when he went to collect his ballroom ticket. It seems I got there too late.

Alright Scot, everything alright here mate.
Yeah unfortunately I was right about the result, didn't care about the money I would have got for a Mayweather win, just wanted Ricky to knock him out, but to be honest, before the fight, I wasn't convinced it was going to happen.
Stopped over in Newyork, but got to see none of it, except from the airplane, a fight in the garden would be awesome.

You were the first person I thought of when Tom started singing it lol.
I thought I had your number saved, then I got a message late on about the English National Anthem from a random number, knew it had to be you
But what a weird choice though.

I talked to a bloke who got one for $300 at the box office as well, no such luck for me I'm afraid.

cheapest I got offered a ticket for was about $1000 my mate didnt have the money, I did, but I couldn't pay that for both of us. SO I just accepted the abllroom, but for $300 I would have taken it no question.
Having said that, after the result, I was glad I didn't fork out top dolar.

There was 7 of us, 3 of us paid the $600 and the other 4 went into the ballroom. They sold the other 3 x $50 ballroom tickets and bought beer!!

Hatton wants a re-match, possibly in Manchester or Wembley.
Id like to see that, I think every fighter should get a second chance and whilst completely outclassed I think there was some things Ricky could improve on so yes, Im all for it.

He will never be able to beat Mayweather - no need for a rematch.

He should go back to Light Welter and go from there.

I agree with loop. Mayweather is just too good for him.
I do think though that Mayweather could possibly take this fight, as he did say post fight that it was an ambition of his to fight in England.
Hatton may improve, but he needs to fill out a little bit more and have more to his game than just trying to smother a fighter like Mayweather.

What shocked me most about Ricky's performance was, I did not see one body punch of any significance from him, but as for Mayweather, he fought inside, outside and to the body. Ricky would need to improve in alot of areas.

I dont think Hatton will beat Mayweather in a rematch either but id still like to see it, on home soil with a better Ref it will be a better fight I think.
