not enough head movement, he also walked straight in to the punch that KO's him too. I think he was tired by that point and was desperate to win some rounds.
    We come not to play.

Height and reach wouldn't be a problem at light welterweight but the step up was far too much, Hatton struggled against a poor fighter like Collazo at Welterweight and Mayweather an infinitly better fighter was much stronger and better, if you look at the stats Hatton landed about 17% of his punches Mayweather landed 40%.

I personally would like to see Hatton fight Witter next

Nah, I want him to fight De La Hoya because it would be a great event. I would say that Hatton has a 50/50 chance even at welterweight because De La Hoya is nowhere near as quick as Mayweather and his punch resistance, especially to the body, is surely on the wane.
Would also cement Hattons legacy, give him his biggest payday and secure his future.

Only after that would I say take Witter apart then retire gracefully.

                          Alright Lads.
                          Not long back from Vegas.
Have to say, the place is an awesome sight but not one I will be returning to for a while.
The fight itself, well I hate to say it, but it was everything I expected.
Controled by Mayweather except for in a couple of the early exchanges.
I had money on Mayweath in the 7th,8th and a decision for Mayweather. just missed out.
Floyd showed his true ability last night, it may well have been his most impressive fight in terms of variety and ability he showed during the fight along with his gatti fight. Won on the inside and outside and at times out wrestling Hatton. I have more respect for Floyd now than I ever had, especially after his words for Ricky after the fight saying in his eyes Ricky is still a champion.
I also think he envies Rickys support a little. Even if there is a troublesome element.
I thought ricky could have gave more credit to floyd post fight. I didnt see the press conference afterwards though.

The fight just proved to me really what I already knew about hatton, he is a top class light Welterweight, he will never be a top class welterweight, not while cotto and Floyd are fighting in that division anyway.
Who is left in the light welterweight division though? he should take a good look around and stay at that weight, but somehow, I don't think he will.
He is desperate to become a hall of fame fighter that is why he has taken this fight. Surely there must have been some doubt after his first showing in Welterweight, which I thought on the night he lost.
Scores for the Mayweather fight by the three judges were as follows.
Two of them had Hatton winning one round in the ten, while the other had Hatton winning two rounds.
The fight was a cracking fight though despite the outcome, hopefully both men keep going for a few more fights. I think it was Mayweathers last though or second last fight.

the weigh in before the fight was amazing, what an atmosphere.
I checked it out at 9am and there was a massive queue of brits trying to get in. the weight in didn't happen till after 2pm.
Even the americans said it was a unique weight in atmosphere. It was more like a football match atmosphere than a weigh in.
I'd love to see Hopkins and Calzaghe get it on.

Ohh before I go, Met RedGedi for a few pints while I was in the Treasure Island Casino. One of the soundest las you could meet, same can be said for his mate.
Didn't have the pleasure of meeting Steve. Just missed out kept missing each other.
Tried to get in contact with Jaco Pastorious (Mike) Phoned a few times got no answer, left voice messages on his voice mail and texts, didn't hear a whisper, which was a pity cos I won't be back in Vegas for long time and would have liked to have met him finally.

I got me photo taken with Billy Graham which was pretty cool Ill post it later. I have the most part of the weigh in recorded, if I can upload it I will. Was sat first row behind the band.
Seen Roger Mayweather a numerous occasions, he was loving the attention, so I didn't bother with him. Seen De La Hoya and shane Mosley in the same club I was in at the MGM. There was even a dance off in the club

                          Off to unpack now.

Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

Can you expand on the 'troublesome element' amongst the fans? Did you see any bother?
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

couple of scraps in the ballroom after the fight, cops in immediately tazering some English fans, for a while I though it could get really bad, but it didnt thankfully.
On the most part, the English fans were sound. But with every large travelling element, you will always get some tossers.
I believe there was some other scraps too over the weekend but didnt see them.
