    its not the quick wicket. They put new pitches in due to complaints that it was to quick and bouncy.....but they decided to go back to the quick pitch this series.

    Unfortunately that didnt happen in the end, so we are on a normal wicket

    It usually a safe haven for the Aussies. Not many teams can face our pace attack at the WACA

          Perth are 3 hrs behind the rest of Oz.

          its great for us in the eastern/central states though. We get the cricket till 8.30pm

            great play by us today, just need to build a strong lead and keep the Aussies at bay.

                The Aussies are a tough bunch, no matter how bad it looks they're normally there til the end.

                RP Swing, Pathan and Ishant were fantastic today. Honourable mention for Symonds - how did that ball miss the stumps?!?!

                  India bowled out for 294. Laxman holds the fort until the end with Sehwag and Pathan providing the early impetus and the Indians set a target of 413 to win.

                  The highest successful run chase at this ground was when Aus chased down 339 v India in 1977 and with 2 and a bit days to bat, the Aussies will fancy their chances. The highest successful run chase was of course the Windies chasing down 418 to prevent a whitewash at home to the Aussies.

                    bit surprised that the Aussies really went for it so late in the day, they have a long time left to bat and now have lost 2 valuable wickets.
