Dana has just banned all fighters from wearing any gear from Randy Couture's clothing line. Randy apparently sponsers 35 fighters at various levels, this income is crucial to fighters low down the pay ladder and this revenue stream has been denied to them because Dana lets his personal grudges get in the way of the sport.

This has happened before and is the reason that Matt Lindland is no longer in the UFC. He wore clothing from a sponsor who was on Dana Whites "blacklist" and as a result had his contract terminated and has not set foot in the octagon since.

A similar ban was in place for Punishment clothing when he was in the middle of his fued with Tito.

Seriously though, for wearing a certain brand of clothing they get banned?. Not as if most of them a filthy rich or anything, as you say, they need these endorsements to keep them putting food on the table.
I know there was rumours of another MMA organisation being set up, forget who exactly by. But there certainly seems to be room for one, especially since the UFC bought Pride.

Having said that, I love the Affliction brand, they have some nice shirts. GSP had a nice one before his fight with Matt Hughes, Coutoure has his own Affliction top aswell I know, thats not the shirts you are on about though right?.

The UFC is all about money, getting as much money from the brand names as they can, if there is not something in it for them financially, they do not want to know.

Having said that, I love the Affliction brand, they have some nice shirts. GSP had a nice one before his fight with Matt Hughes, Coutoure has his own Affliction top aswell I know, thats not the shirts you are on about though right?.
