    Superbowl XLII

    I know there is a NFL thread but this seems to be a huge deal on the BBC. Even advertised during MOTD. So anyone staying awake to watch this?

    All I know is the Patriots (owned by Robert Kraft- remember him?) are unbeaten and could be the second side in NFL history to go the whole season unbeaten. They play the New York Giants.

    'The greatest show on Earth', expect fireworks-literally and maybe what a final should be like. An extravaganza.

                Tom Brady is having an absolute nightmare by his standards. As a Patriots fan I have obviously watched him closely. He has been fantastic all regular season but his form has dipped a bit in the playoffs, championship game and now in this. Lets just hope he has a much better second half and is protected more.
                He also IMO needs to use Randy Moss much more as he has done all season.

                23 touchdown catches in a season is amazing. Eli Manning has only threw 23 touchdown passes!!!
