He'd be ideal playing for England then....don't last very long do they

I put £50 at 100-1 on England to do the double - win the Indian Premier League and the County Championship.

With Frankie Dettori and Lewis Hamilton scoring the tries England are surefire certainties for Euro 2008.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

                        You for real??
                        Its been ****ing amazing!!!!
It's had everything and the cheerleaders they have borrowed from the states are
Spoke to a few relatives in India and they are absolotely buzzing about it over there, it taken the world by storm and is the future of cricket No wonder the England players are ****ed off they can't play in it!
I believe Sky didnt bid for it because of their deal with the ECB and the clash of interests.
Warne was absolute class last night, i hope this isn't the last time he plays first class cricket as he has still got it!!
Amazing experiance for all the young Indians playing, should really help their progress. That Gony looks a decent bowler!!
Can't wait to watch Sachin play
Also it's great for other top stars t get to know each other and hopefully this will help cut out the sledging and the tourny has been played in great spirit so far except for Afridibut he is a cock anyways

After Warne come in to bat with about 2 overs left and he was bowling to Warne and Warne tried to play him to third man with a cut slice shot but missed the ball, Afridi just got up in his face and just started having a go at Warne and then he kept chippin away at him all over and even when the over was finished he was still mouthing off. Its a shame as it was the first time in the IPL that its really got heated.

Warne hit 16 runs of the last 3 balls to win the game, Karma

Warne sort of ignored the question in his post match interview which was good as hopefully it wont draw to much attention to it and the rest of the games will be played in the right manner.

I can understand Indians getting excited about it but, in my experience, no-one else gives a ****. I have a few Aussie mates here in Manchester - cricket obsessives - and they don't give a **** either.

The teams don't mean anything to anyone. They're just made-up and cobbled together and, apart from people in India who come from these areas, they mean nothing to people.

It certainly is not the future of cricket and, as far as I can see, hasn't "taken the world by storm". If you ask me it's been a damp squip.

If you think the cricket has been poor then you have no cricketing sense, you have seen the fastest 50,100,150 in 20/20 cricket, some quality catches, drops, Afridi would have had a hat-trick yesterday if some guy didnt drop the ball. Last over drama in few games already.

Well i know plenty of people watching it and getting into it. Their even showing games live in the SU bar at uni on the big screen. Maybe you old people just don't get it.

Obviously the teams arn't going to mean anything to you, but your theory would make County cricket piss poor aswell as the teams wouldn't mean anything to people outside the UK.

If the IPL was so pointless why are the ECB trying to copy it with its own version....

So because you and a couple of aussies don't watch it, it means it isn't watched all over the world. Now i am only going by what the commentators are saying but it seems to have massive appeal around the world.

Anyways you are cutting into my FM08 time

So **** off gay boi (old man) :bird:
