Sorry, I didn't make myself clear, he's the candidate I'd go for.
He has coachd before but not at international level.
You won't find a better judge of a player than Gooch and so far as fitness and discipline go, he's the strictest taskmaster.
Bring in individual bowling coach and you're sorted

        Well I'm sold

By all accounts we never should have got rid of Troy Cooley.

Not sure we could've kept Cooley, he was determined to go but talk is they didn't try hard enough to keep him on. Arrogant pricks at the ECB

            Peter Moores = McClaren

Good county cricket coach - but really just jobs for the boys by signing him

Best option - probably Tom Moody

Vaughan is a great cricket captain but doesnt play well to keep his team
Maybe time to move on and give it to Colly or Pieterson

Watch Bell now bat - whilst he is in he`ll have a batting strike rate of 0.01% until he is out for 35

Strauss - he needs to go.

It's time for England to blood so new players, especially batsmen - and maybe a couple from the 'A' team - maybe Carberry and Rashid
            We need better attacking players!

            Torres aint enough

So true. He does that in the ODI's as well.

                Bell out

PS his middle name is Ronald - enough said

                  Shouldnt laugh but

I think Ian Bell is okay, he's still young enough to improve. He's been moved around the order a hell of a lot as well and that can't help either. Vaughan has also played all the way down to 4 I think and both, along with Strauss have been rubbish for ages. The team is carrying far too many passengers at the moment.

I think we'll win this Test but I'd like to think that some of these out of form players will be given the chance to get plenty of domestic cricket under their belts before the summer Tests.

                    208-7

                    Pietersen out for 129

                    Cracking innings.

                      240-7 at stumps.

Broad has batted well for his 42, but without Pietersen England would be in the ****.

Trescothik has called time on his England career, not that he really had one during the last couple of years.

I like Ian Bell, he's got a very good technique and a good temperament.
He's going through a lean spell, but then most of our batsmen are, including Pietersen until this innings.
England are up against it now in this match, I always look at 350 as your par score if you bat first, I'd be amazed if thy get within 40 of that.

I think that's a little premature and ill-considered. I think Moores will do OK.

Maybe time to move on and give it to Colly or Pieterson I'd give Vaughan a little longer, especially with the demise of Tresco and Strauss

I'm playing all the right notes. Not necessarily in the right order. I'll give you that, sunshine.
