Impact wasn't THAT bad (compared to the abortion of a show they put on the previous week), there was some ok wrestling and they set up most of the ppv reasonably well. Even if several of the matches at it look pretty horrid. Moore - Kaz was a very decent tv match, and Hardy - Roode was ok. As usual though, the epic booking / story-writing failures are the things that people will remember, Abyss being run over by the slowest moving car in history reminded me of that bit from Austin Powers, and the fireball, well, lame, seen it before and it never works properly. In the uncensored clip it looks quite impressive (until you read they had to try it 3 times), but to do it then not show it on tv is stupid.

Oh, and I know you enjoy ripping on tna "Shawn", often justified.... but you don't really think the Hoff actually booked raw do you?

It was a really bad go home show, which is unsurprising given it is, y'know TNA. When Paul Heyman, a prostitute to anyone with money rejects being part of Creative, or should that be 'Creative', you know you're in the ****s.

Of course he didn't but in character, he did and it made perfect sense. What TNA do is over-book. The proof is in the pudding, TNA is a cluster**** of a show and organisation. 0.79 this week even though they moved to 7et. They were unopposed and they still managed the same freaking rating?! You've got to be kidding me. When they were on Thursday doing the same ****, they would be getting 1.1 at the least, peaking at 1.3. They've lost viewers. It's undeniably crap TV and WWE doesn't rate them as competition. They put the title on Jack ****ing Swagger. JACK SWAGGER?!

As for Lockdown...

Styles - Pope could be excellent IF they book it straight and give the lots of time. No ****ing run-ins / screw jobs please.

The X-div could also be very good, Williams is boss and Kaz has a tremendously versatile moveset. Not high on Moore (or his gimmick) but still, could be good.

Couldn't give a **** about anything involbing the Wolfpac, Waltmann's the only one who should still be anywhere near a ring.

Angle - Anderson, I guess this must be their final bout. Actually I enjoyed their ladder match and it made me more interested in their feud again... only for them both to be entirely absent from the gow-home show Problem with this one is they overdid it early with all the US soldiers crap so it seems like its been going on forever when it actually started at the ppv 2 months ago. Which isn't all that long for a major feud, wwe have filled 5 times as long with HHH v Orton etc, but this one has not been done well. I think Angle and Anderson could have gotten their feud over without the added nonsense.

And as for the women, don't get me started on what they've done to that division. I hera both Taylor Wilde and ODB have complained this week about the direction, its a crying shame.... I know you're not a big one for women's wrestling generally but if its got to be done it might as well be done right, having the likes of Hamada and Sarita unused while Lacey Von Erich gets ring time and the title is given away in a box is frankly attrocious.

Caught up on Impact last night, dear God it was crap. The booking is awful at times. As Mr M says, the X-Div is where the money is there. Williams is awesome. There's money in the Pope too, the main event with AJ could be cool. I wish AJ would turn face again, this fake Nature Boy angle is ****. Samoa Joe still MIA I see? Allegedly they've told him to lose weight

Apparently the Smackdown roster is back in the States so the plan at the moment is to have Smackdownn tomorrow and Raw on Friday, although with it being filmed on a Tuesday they might still be cutting it close!

Russo has been acting a bitch recently. Have you read any excerpts from his autobiography? He's a ****ing cock and doesn't deserve to be in wrestling. The biggest bull****ter in the industry and never holds himself accountable. Always citing 'standards' and 'practices'. Grade A ******

I don't mind Women's divisions but when they done like this, it pisses me off because it's poor tv and poor building. I don't want to be patronised, heck I don't want to feel tortured watching this **** but when a title is given in a box? A ****ING BOX! I get pissed off.

I should do what Lance Storm is doing now and that is quit watching TNA because it sucks monkey balls.

Meh, Lance Storm talks sense at times but he overdoes it about TNA and hardly ever comments about some of the stupidity on wwe programming. Plus he completely ignored some of their great ppv matches last year, preferring to bitch about the impact booking. Which he's right to do, but when tna do something right, which does happen now and again, his silence is very conspicuous. Fact is he hates Russo from his WCW days and lets that personal animosity effect his commentary on the company as a whole.

Lockdown so far (avoiding spoliers for anyone watching it later)..... undercard very average, several short and slightly pointless matches, 6-pac did a no show so Nash had to wrestle twice (although 3D v Outsiders was actually ok, 3D worked the crowd very well) Doug Williams unable to be there due to the volcano so X-div match was Kaz v Homicide v Moore, that was pretty good actually.... and overall the booking has been reasonably straight (probably because Bischoff apparently did it rather than Russo)..... and then came Anderson v Angle.

2 words. "****ing awesome". Really, great match, pretty much killed each other and Angle did an insane spot. MOTY contender easily

Edit - Pope - AJ was solid enough (but with a damn weak ending), unfortunate for them they had to follow Angle/Anderson really.

Edit - wow, that was a total cluster**** really (as those sort of matches always are), lame ending but I guess the pensioners were bound to get in there at some point. As for Jeff Hardy doing a ladder/table spot ontop of the cage (even if he did wuss out of the swanton), that **** was just scary.

Not sure what to make of that ppv as a whole, my stream was rubbish so I'll probably need to watch it again properly to do a proper review. The Angle - Anderson match was totally boss though.

Apparently its on the Extreme Sports Channel (whatever that is, don't have Sky) on Friday.

It was rather bloody, it was a bit mental, and it was very tna, parts were terrible, parts were brilliant. I'm still marking for Angle's moonsault from the top of the cage now, that was an utterly sick spot in what was a really really good match. And as for Jeff getting up a ladder ontop of the cage, I just thought someone was going to die.

I will say it because I am trying to quell the burning in my heart--I hate Vince Russo. I despise Vince Russo. I want Vince Russo to die. If I could figure out a way to murder him without going to prison, I would consider it the greatest accomplishment of my life.

I hate him for the money he's cost me. I hate him for what he's done to the business. I hate him for keeping TNA from being competitive to WWE. I hate him for the careers, even the lives he's ruined with his ****ty booking and the irreparable damage he's done to every promotion he's been involved with. I regularly wake up from dreams in which I am in the act of murdering him. I literally burn whenever I think of him. I have sworn to myself that I will willingly go to jail if I ever see him in person again, and he had better pray to his fictitious invisible man in the sky that that day never comes. I intend to make it my life's work and mission to **** with him and anything he ever has anything to do with in the wrestling business.

Cornette is probably one of the best writers and bookers in the business. It's a shame TNA chose Russo over Cornette, one of many stupid decisions which underline how ass backwards the company is. Cornette doesn't also like Paul E. Called him all sorts of things under the sun but does respect his booking and creative work unlike Russo, obviously.

Cornette's commentaries make me piss. He's hilarious and for the most point right about all the booking decisions. Have any of you seen his rebooking of the invasion DVD? That was pretty interesting.

Bischoff is teasing a surprise for the live impact tonight, not sure what though. Raw should be interesting with HHH and all the Smackdown talent.
