    Absolutely.

I was the one who said it. For me, Matt Hardy is much better technically, better playing face and heel, better on the mic. The only reason why Jeff is liked more because he has multi-coloured hair and does the Swanton.

Jeff is not much of a high flyer. He is as much of a high flyer as Shawn Michaels

Kurt Angle recently did an interview with SCNow. The following are a few of his comments regarding TNA compared to the WWE, the politics in each company, his interest in working MMA, and more:

What’s TNA like compared to the WWE?
"There’s no comparison, talent-wise, to WWE. We’ve got much more talented wrestlers. Since I’ve been here, it’s probably progressed 200 percent. It’s not me, though. The folks who started TNA have really built it up. WWE still makes over $100 million a year, but eventually we’ll get there. Now they have a real competitor.

So I take it you believe, wrestling-wise, TNA trumps WWE?
Yes. and I think a lot of it is the athleticism. We recruit the best wrestlers from around the world. TNA doesn’t discriminate. We look for the best athletes. A lot of our guys are under 6-feet (tall).

You don’t think hiring smaller guys may hurt your fan base?
Not at all. Wrestling’s an illusion itself, and fans realize it. We’re coming into a more real world. We have a good mixture of wrestlers. We have (high fliers) like Rey Mysterio Jr., but we also have guys like me and Samoa Joe who are more of a ground-and-pound style, more mixed martial arts oriented.

In 2006, you left WWE for TNA. Why did you leave WWE?
TNA takes better care of me. They don’t want to overwork me. They want to make sure I can stay wrestling for another five to eight years. There’s a lot of politics in wrestling, wanting to be the top guy. There’s no politics here. That was more important than anything. I can’t say the same about WWE. I’ve seen guys who could elevate quicker, but because of politics, didn’t.

You’ve mentioned in other interviews that you would like to try mixed martial arts. Is that still a possibility?
Well, my first priority is TNA. A lot of companies have asked me. In mixed martial arts, the danger is always there. If he puts me in a submission hold and I’m too proud to tap out and he snaps my arm, I’m out for a year or two. If I were to do it, the money would have to be unbelievable because if I get injured and I’m out, I need to provide for my family. If the money I get in mixed martial arts does not exceed the money I make in TNA, it’s not worth it.

Completely true those bits. TNA's scripts are a bit mental right now, but where it actually comes to performances in the ring, they wipe the floor with wwe. You're lucky to get one decent spot in a whole wwe ppv these days.
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.

                  Nah.

I'm sure he'll get used brilliantly on smackdown.

I kind of agree with the point that you do get better spots in TNA PPV's however the X Division is all over the joint, no one knows whats happening. The indication to a good wrestling organisation is if you can pick up the storyline without needing to have a degree with soap style storylines. I dip into Impact and there are six different tangents to one wrestler, its unbelievable. Its confusing, inconsistent, train wreck tv. I hope someone with a lot of money buys it out and brings in some credible writers but Jarrett is doing a god awful job.

Kurt Angle talks a lot of bollocks in the last question. In these shoot interviews, he isn't the best of people to talk to. He comes across as quite unintelligent.

Yup, you're right about the X division..... but they still put on one hell of a show when given the chance. Its Russo is the problem init, some of the loony plots are very reminiscent of end-of-line wcw.

I'd still rather watch a TNA event than a WWE one any day of the week, its not like Vince's script writers are doing a great job at the moment either, and if anyone in the world isn't bored with bull**** Edge/HHH main events I'd love them to explain why. Its a sad state of affairs really, TNA has a great opportunity with the dirth of interest in WWE, but although the matches are better, they'll never make a big move with the current creative direction.

TNA's downfall was what many felt was their successful turning point. Like many, I felt that the move to Spike TV was a positive one and the signing of Sting signified their intentions. They are going to rely on big names to build their reputation and try and grab the attention of those fans who either are watching WWE or who turned off wrestling since the late 90s. They didn't for one second think about those fans who have been watching them when they were wrestling in that dingy wrestling arena in Memphis, Tennessee. Wrestlers like Styles and Daniels were pushed to the back for has been wrestlers like Nash, DDP, Sting, Booker T, Steiner Brothers to be brought in. For me, when I first started to watch TNA, it was meant to be fresh, young, new. Yes, new! If I wanted to watch older wrestlers, I would switch onto WWE every Tuesday morning and Friday night or switch on the VCR.

Its time TNA scrapped the crap and use the talent they have and build a legacy with them. They are the future after all. TNA can't become dependent on the older roster. They either always want time off or get injured. They need to go back to square one with heels, faces, stables, tag teams, divisions and start again.
