Yeah, I'm sure I read JR saying something like King still wrestles 200+ times a year on the independent circuit.Originally posted by refugee View PostI thought he still did independent shows?

He only works once a week.Originally posted by Gingawaria View PostThis is true...but the toll being on the road 300+ days a year takes on your body must be enormous.

Punk and Cena generally always put on a good match so I'm not complaining about seeing them again.
Bryan/Kane is a great team, I'm loving what they're doing at the moment. Looks like they might actually be looking to build up the tag division again.
They need to end this Del Rio/Sheamus thing though, they have 0 chemistry in the ring and it's making both of them look bad. Move Sheamus onto a heel Orton or push Cody Rhodes.

Punk v Cena ended in a draw after they both pinned eachother.
Kane/Bryon new tag-team champs.

I grew up with Jerry Lawler, good to see he is getting by a bit better.

The amount if wrestlers having heart attacks is ridiculous.

The Rock's an odd one because he's spent the last 10 years or so trying to shy away from the industry and play down his involvement. It must be very difficult to walk away from something where you have thousands of people cheering/booing you every night, there's nothing else you can compare to it really.Originally posted by refugee View PostIt sometimes seems as though they are determined to keep going until they do themselves harm. I thought the Rock (for example) had gotten out of the industry relatively unscathed, yet now he's been drawn back in. He can't need the money (surely!), yet he's risking injury to perform once again. The whole industry must be the most addictive drug known to man.

No one should be wrestling at that age but the temptation to have that 'one last match' is far too great.
