It was too early to take the title from Punk, I expect Taker will win it at HIAC. The Cena/Orton match had some amazing storytelling, but Orton gave up too quickly. Kofi and Miz was decent, Legacy finally got the big win, (notice HHH didn't submit, shocker) Tag title match was just there, Ziggler's bit was a waste of time as was Kane and Khali. Overall it was an ok PPV in my opinion. Oh and Joe, you're so so right, Cole is the most annoying prick on their shows!

So Boretista didn't retire. He's off to SD. There's rumours CM Punk is going to try recruit him as a bodyguard to fend off Taker. Raw was actually ok. The DX/Legacy fued has gone to a new level. Good! Bad times though it's Cena/Orton 7 billion at Hell In A Cell, groooooooaaaaannnnn
Trish looked great on Raw though. Hotter than fire!

Just curious why do you watch this stuff ? is it like some crazy wrestling soap opera that you are addicted too? not being felicitous honestly trying to understand, I am assuming most of your are over 20 years old. Dont get me wrong I use to love Hulk Hogan and Jake the Snake Roberts to a ripe old age but I eventually grew out of itAnybody who criticizes Klopp ever is a James Blunt. Nov 2015

Personally, its a form of entertainment I've always found interesting. I guess it helps that as a kid I knew a couple of people in the business, my uncle was involved backstage in some uk promotions back in the days of Big Daddy and Giant Haystacks etc; I found it much more fascinating knowing it was all worked, there's a lot of skill involved in pulling that off well, both in production and in performance. And believe me, you only ever mention wrestling being "fake" to pro-wrestlers once
From then on the business has been something I've been interested in. Sure its all booked but that makes it no less entertaining once you move past that. Athletically, yeah so they're not actually killing each other, but its definitely more skillful pulling off some of the **** they do without serious injury than it is with it. Its a crazy crazy form of entertainment if you don't get it, but most of us in this thread can admire it when its done well, and diss it when its done badly, rather than just take it at face value.I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?

It's a silly, crazy and unrealistic form of entertainment which allows me to complain that the older days were better.Originally posted by Nicey View PostJust curious why do you watch this stuff ? is it like some crazy wrestling soap opera that you are addicted too? not being felicitous honestly trying to understand, I am assuming most of your are over 20 years old. I agree with that. I like the creative aspects of it all too, the storyline writing, character development etc. Maybe its because I work in a creative environment. Love the high spots obviously and how everything is laid out. There is indeed a lot of skill in doing all that stuff.Originally posted by MrMichael View PostPersonally, its a form of entertainment I've always found interesting. I used to watch this right up untill the age of about 24, my missus whos a bit of a bright spark just looked upon me like some poor sod, at the time I used to think there enough serious bollix in the world, I usually have my head stuck in some heavy non fiction book WWF is my idiot juice release, I think I have replaced it with reality tv .. I am a sucker for anything which involved obvious class divides, desperation mixed with a ting of sadness all rolled up comedic brillianceAnybody who criticizes Klopp ever is a James Blunt. Nov 2015

Plus you're a Fifa fan so have no tasteOriginally posted by Nicey View PostI used to watch this right up untill the age of about 24, my missus whos a bit of a bright spark just looked upon me like some poor sod, at the time I used to think there enough serious bollix in the world, I usually have my head stuck in some heavy non fiction book WWF is my idiot juice release, I think I have replaced it with reality tv .. (I joke I joke) I know what you mean though, its like a guilty pleasure really. Reality TV depresses me these days, its all too fake now. Big Brother was a televised experiement in human behaviour, now its a place where 12 or so cunts come for their 5 mins of fame and attempt to get in Zoo or Nuts with their tits out. I think wrestling is that great escapism, 2 or so hours a week to kick back and watch this lot do what they do.
I love UFC too, but for entirely different reasons. The sheer brutality and technique involved is a whole other game. Plus Brock Lesnars post fight at 100 was the best thing I've ever seen post fight!
