Yes. I think they've dropped the commitment too. Surprised that they have managed to over-ride Sky. Sky's BO price for PPV is just under £20 for the Rumble.

Apparently £19.99 will be the standard price for PPV's moving forward.

Good luck getting someone to pay 20 quid for Battleground!

Why would Sky still do the Box Office when you can get the WWE Network for half the price?

I suppose it's so people with crap internet connections can still see them?

The deal with Sky was negotiated a few months ago. WWE were speaking to BT as well but BT weren't interested.

WWE will need to promote the hell out of the Network somehow. All WWE programming is on Sky TV and its obviously not in Sky's interests to promote the Network.

I wonder how this affects their relationship in the long term.

As Gingawaria has said, those with dodgy speeds by opt for SBO as the US version has shown, the Network is prone to crashing.

Any fans of the show Main Event (!) will be disappointed to learn that the show has been pulled from the Network worldwide because of the WWE's deal with Sky. Sky signed exclusivity to all of WWE's content.

Its worth the money at the moment. I have been watching The Monday Night Wars. Lots of decent content.

I feel that after a couple of months though, itll start to get a bit boring.

It wouldn't come as a surprise if the WWE have stipulated the price rise for PPV on SKY.

That would drive more traffic to the WWE Network.

Why pay £20 for the Rumble when you can get a couple of months WWE Network for the same money? subscribes to WWE Network
