I'd love to watch the Masters and an Open at St Andrews. Bloody brilliant that would be
it is mate, the practice round is where it's at if you don't want to spend a fortune. i was a couple feet away from your mate Baddeley who was chatting up a couple of people he knew in between holes, or Bads as people were calling him

British Open at St. Andrews would be amazing, that's definitely on my Sports to-do list

I hate "Bads"...or God boy as i like to call him. Unbelievably overrated. Ogilvy, Allenby and Scott are miles ahead.

I would love to just play at St Andrews, its right up there on my list of to-do's

he's an awkward shy guy, pretty small as well, i think you could take him if he played his music too loud on the bus

Ogilvy is fun to watch, I like Allenby and Scott as well. There are loads of Aussies in the field this year

My dad's played St. Andrews, someday I hope to emulate that

There's not much of a chance of playing Augusta which is a shame

He just told me he sold his Sunday tickets (2) for $1500 which is a really fair price. He's not in it for the money, he just can't go and wants fellow golf enthusiasts to be able to go, he won't sell to scalpers.

I heard on the radio the other day that the Masters is one of the hottest and toughest tickets to get in American sports which surprised me a bit. The ticket broker they were interviewing said that he's seen them range from $5,000-$13,000 for one day I think you could get a good deal if you buy early on Ebay. There are LOADS of scalpers out there, on the drive in I bet I saw about 150 of them, holding signs saying "I need tickets" "Buy, sell tickets" etc. I'd never seen that many before. Just from what I've seen and heard you can negotiate with them as they get desperate to unload the tickets

The practice round tickets are great value, face value they are $36.00 which is a bargain. This is the first year I've gone to a practice round and I really liked it. Very relaxed, you can joke around and talk to the golfers, there's no pressure, you can take your camera in, and the players take multiple shots and try different things they would never do if it was for real. You can watch them on the driving range and the practice green as well, that's where I saw Tiger and Phil this year, practicing their putting, it obviously didn't help Phil much- he misses so many short ones it's crazy

The par 3 tournament is fun to watch, I got to see Jack Nicklaus, Arnie Palmer, and Gary Player play in one pairing, it was really cool. Faldo played as well and he embarrassed himself on the hole I was sat, it was pretty funny. Alot of legends and guys that work in the media now participate so it's cool to see them out there. Most of the guys let their kids caddie for them, Ian Poulter's son was smacking a ball around on the green with his little putter and nearly hit one of the other players balls, pretty funny to see that. Of course some of the big players like Tiger and Phil didn't participate, but I don't really care about seeing them.

We always take chairs in and leave them at a hole as early as possible to get a good seat, no one will bother them, and we walk the course before settling in. Then you get to see everyone pass through and see how they approach the hole differently.

A long winded reply but I hope I answered your question
          Cheers dude.

I would like to go to a professional golf tournament. Its on my to-do list with Wimbledon, Ashes, Anfield, Silverstone and the boxing. Damn, I have a long list.
