Cavendish desided it was about to give the other sprinters a chance, and didn`t start today. Also a very nasty crash by Pereiro, broken shoulder and hip.

Great race up the final climb today. Schleck has to attack Evans and Menchov again on Tuesday and/or Wednesday because he could lose three minutes or more on Saturday.

An excellent performance from Kohl too.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Was it Menschov that fell just when he was going away?
Very unlucky that, could have made it all very interesting.

Yes, he was unlucky. It will be interesting to see if he can recover.

          CSC were awesome.

Great ride from Sastre today. He deserves it - he attacked on the Alpe and it has brought him success.
