Seve a true sporting legend, my most abiding memory is his tears of joy when we won the Ryder Cup back. The word legend is used too often these days, in Seve's case it was totally deserved.

    RIP
The stars are shining like rebel diamonds cut out of the sun.

Monty's talking about the funeral and doing an exceptional job in keepin it together. My opinion of Monty has changed hugely over the last week, particularly the way he supported Olazabal. Really moving scenes from the funeral were screened too.

Anyway, talking about how they can honour Seve. The tour is talking about changing the logo from Vardon to Seve, launching a new matchplay event on the Tour, incorporating new tournaments for his foundation. If the changes go through then Seve will become an integral part of the Euro Tour for ever and he can never be forgotten. A very fitting tribute.
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

Sky Sports News had the procession, Seve's son's being greeted at the church and some of the footage from outside. It was held in his home town and it looks like everybody in there turned out. They had screens up outside so all of the town folk could see it as well. Folk lining the streets all the way to the church.

Some of the Seve stories that the players have been coming up with during their interviews have been fantastic. Looking at it now I don't think a sportsman has ever touched so many people. Unbelievable player but an unbelievable character too.

There is a Seve documentary at 10.20 on BBC tonight. The clip that was just on had Tiger, Nadal, McIlroy and Brucie in to name a few. Looks like it could be quite lovely.

Think it's also going to be on the Iplayer

Really sad. What a wonderfully frank but at the end when he spoke in to the camera to tell people not to feel sorry for him as he'd lived a full life and was lucky

It was heartbreaking indeed. What a man.
                  Are we winning?
