    Not everyone.

Just people who knock down some bloke on a pelican crossing, and are then caught driving so fast they go off the radar...

This is what qualifies him as an arrogant prick.

This is just my opinion of course; yours might differ

I am serious, from the documentary I saw he was a very humble guy (although obviously his boxing image has to be different) from a really nice family. He also does loads of work for the local community and is a great role model. He isn't perfect but I can see no reason to hate on him.

I raise your dodgy Mail article:

After the 2005 Kashmir earthquake, Khan went to Pakistan and handed out food parcels to children in a camp.[19] He has also raised more than £6,000 for a firefighter who was badly burned while trying to save a family from an arson attack in Bolton.[20][21] In early 2006 Khan, visited a number of UK Universities, including; Southampton Solent, Bolton, Manchester, Kent and Brighton. He also coached and took a boxing session with the university students and donated some of his own money to buy pads, gloves and better bags. When Amir Khan visited Kent university, Norman Gates, the University coach who had trained Khan as a youngster, set up 3 boxing matches with his most promising hopefulls. Brian Turner, Mustafa El Monet and Michael Masoomi; and despite Khan taking each match up very lightly, hospitalised Kent's amateur Michael Masoomi in the 6th round. When interviewed Khan claimed to have slipped but Masoomi is persistant it was Khan's intention to send him to the canvas.

He has spent £1million of his own cash on opening the Gloves Community Centre and boxing gym in Bolton to get youths off the streets.[22][23]

      Now ...

I think the way this fight guess depends on what shape Barrera is in.
Although he won in October against Sammy Ventura, iv heard he wasnt in the best of shape (although he will be moving up in weight to fight Khan).

I think hes still got the skills to beat khan, and in his prime the fight wouldnt have lasted 6 rounds. But im gonna go for a Khan win, i can see him stopping Barrera around the 7th with his speed.

Khan is the underdog here, big time IMO. Barrera has the skills and experience to work clear openings, and if connects... could be lights out.

However, Khan should be the hungrier fighter and should be far better prepared now he is with Roach. Should be a good fight anyway and I am looking forward to it.

I've met Khan, he's a good guy certainly not arrogant. i suppose he has to have some confidence due to being in the fight game.
              We come not to play.

It'll be very sad if Barrera loses.

He's a legendary fighter and Khan is a young pup. Could be a case of youthful exuberance beating ageing legs.

                Hope not.

                  All very admirable

Still don't think the widow of the man, who he ran over whilst overtaking ( and speeding ) a line of stationary traffic at a Pelican crossing, would think he is the bees knees though.

So I see your 'what a good bloke', and raise you Widow blames Khan for 'broken' husbands death.

                  Goodnight

either they have realised that khan as a glass jaw and want to give him one last big pay day or the legend Barrera as agreed to take a dive for money which i very much doubt,if none of those scenarios exist then this is the most ridiculous match up i have ever seen since Ali and Richard Dunne

massive step up in class for Khan, so much on the line for both fighters

thats what i dont get about boxing fans. they moan when fighters dont take a massive risk with every fight and if they do take a risk and fight a good fighter, then their career is over if they lose. whats the problem with khan losing to an on song Barrera(if he is) or haye losing to klitchko?
                        !
