    Situps:

The **** thing asbout them is you have to constantly change what you are doing - been doing 100 crunches a day and now it seems to be doing **** all. Have had to change the abs workout totally.

Any 'killer' abs stuff? Need something advanced as i am a proper pro

there is a free app on itunes called sixpack app that has a load of targeted exercises...it is actually quite good

in answer to your question try planks

also kettlebells are the best exercise i have done for fitness and strength they are 2nd to none

In terms of keeping motivated i have found this helpful:

You bacisally have a microchip that goes in your trainer and it links to your ipod and records all of the data for your run, milage, calories burned etc.

Because you can visually see the milage you have covered its very rewarding. You can also set youself targets to aim for which are easily trackable.

I've found it really good as far as these type of gadgets go

haha well the no drinking lasted about 9 days - i was a bit disappointed with myself but still I had a go

the healthy eating lasted the full 14 days target i orignally set and I really enjoyed it and started after about one week, to really feel healthier and fresher. Didn't struggle with the diet and although I felt kinda hungry after meals, it was because i usually stuff my face for tea where as now my stomach was expecting more but didn't get it.

I also found that carrot batons dipped in jalpeno humous was an ideal healhty snack that kept me going.

Going the gym after work has been good - i go tues weds and fri, (play footy mon and thurs) so i enjoy it - spend about an hour or so and when i get home I feel much more alive and fresher than normal.

I had a few too drink on sat night, and since then this week I have not been as healthy and I have to say I feel like **** for it!!

Overall I don't know if I lost much weight and I didn't do as well as I hoped for but that is being quite harsh on myself - I certainly have been healthier overall for the last two to three weeks than I usually am, been more concious of what i eat and drink and other than the last couple of days i had done well. Need to kick start it again though!

Would like to go from now to the end of the month without drinking, and I will be going to asda again later to by my weeks worth of healthy food! I found the first week or so easy, I got into the rooutine of eating healthy, drinking water and doing exercise etc - but i had one night were i let it slip, had a couple of beers and hot dog and chips, and bang it's so easy to slip into ur old routine!.

So although not a failure, it wasn't a success, i improved on some things, but more importantly i showed myself that I can not only cope but actually enjoyed being healthy - I suppose u need to learn to crawl before running, and it's going to take a bit more will power to get rid of old habits!. My mates don't help! constantly, almost every night, "fancy a pint" then the weekend comes and i'd plan an xbox night with a mate, no drinking, and then about 7pm all our other mates have talked him into going out on the piss etc.

to sum for the last say about 17 days is it?

Diet has improved vastly! - i'd score myself 7 out 10

Beer - started well with good intentions but let myself down after giving into peer pressure - still drank less than usually would - 5 out 10

Exercise - not really the issue, I have always played a minimum of 3/4 games of football a week, seasons over so thats down to 2 games but I have added the gym to it. Of course i could exercise more but u could say that of anyone probablu - 7 out 10
