Well, no, they'd still make the same runs they'd just make them in a different order

They could just make the batters bowl and the bowlers bat, that might do the trick

What a superb morning, great fun. Some lovely hitting. Bopara and Bell must feel proper cuntish sat there watching that.

IMO Ramprakash has to play in the 5th Test, but they'll never pick him in a million years.
I'm a Surrey fan and have seen an awful lot of Ramps, and he is a phenominal batsman but IMO he's been happily playing in his comfort zone. Not sure whether he's a tad rusty to make the step up to the cauldron that is a decisive test match.

Playing on home territory may be a factor, I'd love to see him on the big stage. 274

Things have changed now, we're no longer looking the better side. We'll have to win this one or they'll retain them so the shoe is firmly on the other foot

Well, the first test we looked shocking and came back well.

Not to mention we should have Flintoff back who will kick the crap out of anyone who dares bottle it for his final test.

I really think Ramprakash would be the wrong move. He has all the talent in the world but has always been a bit of a bottler. It showed in a lot of his test performances and when he got to 99 hundereds and there was a bit of media pressure too.

I'd like to see Key given a chance as he has been on the fringes for ages, his form has picked up and he seems to be a thinker about the game and we have seemed a bit off tactically this series and any help fro Strauss would seem welcome. I guess Trott is the one who we know they are looking at but I don't know much about him.

quite an insightful and interesting read that - i am almost certain that the english team will have something similar on the aussies, - in fact at most levels of competitive sport that happens. - It's done to calm any aussies nerves, get them up for it etc

                      - my flat mate at uni was extremely good hockey player and pretty much carried our uni's hockey team to the BUCS Hockey final against nottingham (BUCS is it?? the national uni sport assocation thing) - anyway - it was a big affair that unfortunatley our uni lost 2-1 with my mate scoring.....he knew a few of the players well on the nottingham team through his club hockey etc and one of them gave him a 'dossier' on our uni's hockey team!! haha - it was interesting, they had watched loads of their matches with our team unaware. The dossier had about two paragraphs on each player giving a profile on their strengths but mainly their weaknesses, how to wind them up etc etc - My mate was made up though, cause they had a whole a4 page on him with not a bad word about him (everyone else in his side got slated), basically saying he is top class, good lad, and a major threat, etc etc
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

If he would be willing surely Tresco has to be first choice?
