I think most of them are but this is my problem with it – what’s the point of it? Surely Australia knew all of that anyway? It’s like Trescothick or someone compiling a dossier on them saying “Ponting is excellent, deals with the short ball well” .
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
If he would be willing surely Tresco has to be first choice?
I think his problem is touring isn’t it so he can’t be seen to be taking the piss by making himself available for the home Tests and then not touring because he doesn’t fancy it.
But in this instance I think we can/should make a one-off exception and get him in.

Is Ramps not in better form though? Plus he has the added bonus of being an excellent dancer
From what I've heard both are in excellent form. The difference is that Tresco was always better on the big stage and Ramps usually bottles it (despite I think a decent average against the Aussies).
Obviously the dance component could be key but we should be looking to wrap it up before then.

If we are considering either Ramprakash or Trescothick then surely it is as a one off?

Yes, exactly. I think I mis-read your post slightly.
I thought you meant first choice all the time.

And David Lloyd's fine on Test matches but his 20/20 persona is infuriating. Have half the crowd dressed up as nuns and put a jacuzzi in a cricket-ground and he thinks he's become the funniest comedian in the world.
I agree the Test match analysis is generally good.
David 'Bumble' Lloyd: "Are you a twitterer, Athers?"
Mike Atherton: "No."
Bumble: "Facebook?"
Athers: "No. Nor MySpace."
Bumble: "...what do you do with your life?"
Banter during Sky Sports' Ashes coverage. (Shiraz, England).
Shane Warne: "Did you get up to anything exciting?"
Bumble: "Yeah went to LA."
Warne: "LA?"
Bumble: "Yeah, Lower Accrington. I'm going to USA next week though for two/three days."
Warne: "What you doing over there, Bumble?"
Bumble: "That's the Uther Side of Accrington."
More of the same between Warne and Lloyd, first session, fourth Test. (Barry Bonson, UK).

I heard the second one at the time and I've only just stopped laughing.
. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
I just like the way he says them tho, very dry with his delivery, and then starts gigglin to himself as he reaches the punchline.
OK but I can't understand why he giggles. It's like he finds it funny or something.
