No mate, not at all. I have only ever fought small amateur bouts, but haven't trained any stand up for a good year or so now as I've been concentrating on my BJJ.

I never really perused it, and have a career where i couldn't rock up to work with a black eye!

He's called Danny "Cheesecake assassin" Mitchell, we are under the same gym affiliation (its only a small one with a few small gyms).

Look at his highlights, some outrageous submissions- he pulled off a flying triangle against Dean Amasinger at a BAMMA event, and recently won by Twister.

Only met him a few times but he is a really nice guy, and obviously tough as hell!

GSP has vacated the title and dropped out of the UFC for a while.

Hendricks is going to fight Robbie Lawler for it at UFC 171.

Good. GSP needs to stop. He has taken something like 50% of all the hits in his career in the last 3 fights. His appearance on Joe Rogans Podcast was a little bizarre too, kept talking about losing hours at a time and thinking it was Aliens and stuff.

If a bloke needs to step away he should be applauded for it. Hopefully he goes away, sorts those problems and lives a healthy life.

I sort of dont want to see him back in the Octagon. Retiring at the absolute top is hardly ever done.

Agreed, a little worried about the guy to be honest. Clearly he shouldn't be anywhere near the sport at the moment and I think he could do with just a complete break and hopefully sort out his issues.

Agreed lads. There was a fair bit of talk about him retiring before the fight anyway. Think it's best for his health. Bet at first it will kill the guy thogh, you can can see he lives to train.

If your not good with naaasty stuff, don't give that a look, I'm a bit miffed it went that way in fairness but can't be helped, reckon that could be the end of Anderson.

The Rousey fight was a good watch though.

She's out on her own in terms of ladies MMA... but I can't stand her. Every time she fights I'm desperate for her to be taken out - shes like a stroppy teenager, wandering around with a face like a spanked arse and constantly bursting into tears. Why did Meisha Tate keep on clinching with her, she had a chance if she would have just kept it on the feet!
