yeah he's brilliant, totally captivating. I can't get enough I had a little interest in UFC. Not enough to be able to say I am fan, but i'd watch it and now and then check in and see whats happening and then this guy comes along and ive found myself searching youtube for all his interviews, old videos, fights etc etc

I see loads of UFC fans moan at the armchair newbies which is fair enough but conor McGregor has put UFC on the map and into a world wide audience. He gets everyone (sports fans especially) talking.

He absolutely nails the 'image' and gets selling a fight but does it like I've not seen before. Maybe if I was around with Ali then i'd guess that's the biggest comparison.

He's just likeable, he's funny, he's flash but not Floyd Mayweather flash who seems oblivious to how much of a an actual cunt he is and how he alienates all his fans by flashing the cash.....conor does it different, he seems to totally get the fans, has never forgot where he's come from but he uses being flash to wind up his opponents as opposed to just give it the big I am.
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

UFC middleweight Josh Samman dies aged 28.

UFC middleweight Josh Samman has died after spending almost a week in a coma at a Florida hospital.

The 28-year-old and his room-mate Troy Kirkingburg were found unresponsive in their apartment last Thursday by a friend.

Samman was unresponsive when authorities arrived and Kirkingburg was declared dead at the scene, the Police Department of Hollywood, Florida, confirmed.

Samman's manager Gary Ibarra issued a statement to Fox Sports on Wednesday which read: "It is with a heavy heart that the family of Joshua Samman, well-known professional mixed martial artist, promoter and author, have announced his passing this morning at 7:20am at Regional Memorial Hospital in Hollywood, Florida. He was 28 years old.

"The cause of death has yet to be determined pending an autopsy. The family asks that Josh's privacy be respected and that everyone continue to keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this extremely difficult time."

Samman's mother released a statement to Fox Sports on Monday stating that, contrary to online rumours, "there was no heroin found in Josh's system whatsoever".

Samman joined the UFC in 2013 after amassing a record of 9-2 in lower competitions in the sport.

He claimed stoppage victories over Eddie Gordon and Caio Magalhaes before suffering consecutive losses to Tamdan McCrory and Tim Boetsch.

Samman had been due to face Oluwale Bamgbose at UFC Fight Night 102 on December 9 in New York.

Looking forward to the Thompson/Woodley fight tbh almost as much as the main event, great clash of styles.

I think 205 I'd the most stacked card I've ever seen.

Just imagine how bad the winner of Alvarez McGregor will feel when they realise the winner fights Khabib next.

Also Cowboy vs Gastelum is off the card because Kelvin missed weight, again.
