In case anyone didnt see this, Bolt's opening 400m warm up race this season, he ran 45.86
[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vd-PtDV_480"]YouTube- Watch Usain Bolt's season opening 400m[/ame]
Looks like he has a world record in him at 400m too with just a bit more stamina training. He was absolutely exhausted at the end though

Tyson Gay's opening 400m of the season was 44.8 seconds!Originally posted by Pablo1981 View PostIn case anyone didnt see this, Bolt's opening 400m warm up race this season, he ran 45.86

These two are just utterly ridiculousGay goes into the race in impressive form; in winning the 400m at the Tom Jones Classic in Gainesville, Florida on 17 April he became the first man to go under 10 seconds for the 100m, 20 sec for the 200m and 45 sec over 400m.
The 27-year-old's achievements was made the more impressive considering his 400m time was the only time this season he has run in spikes.
"I hope my 400 relates to my 200 time dropping down and I think that's the key," said Gay.
"I'm healthy and for me to open over 44.8 by accident, having not been training in spikes or done any speed work, I think that's amazing."
Both would break the 400m world record if they focused more on 400m IMO.

That's pathetic. I can run for much longer than that.Originally posted by Pablo1981 View PostJust checked and that time of 44.8 seconds would have got him bronze at last summer's World Championships.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.
