Murray was lucky there"When a man insults my country I insult him, by taking his woman" Tony Yeboah
"looking through your posts since 2007 and what you have consistently written about my football team I have come to the conclusion that if you had 1 more brain cell you would be a plant .. your father was a hamster and your mother smells of elder berries, I fart in your general direction ..." Nicey

exactly. and scotland is its own country too. so murray is scottish not british number 1
When mentioning Murray's nationality they'll always say Scottish, but from the last time I looked he plays for Britain in the Davis Cup and so is classed as British in his chosen sport.
Anyway, the Brit just won
the scot just won
People who think there's no good way to die have obviously never heard the phrase 'Drug-fuelled-sex-heart-attack'.

Rev, I'm not disputing he's Scottish, look at the ATP website and he's listed as a Scot. If the media choose to call him a Brit, which is perfectly acceptable and correct, then what difference does it make?
Actors are always referred to as 'British', I'm not going to throw a wobbly because Britain gets the glory for an English actor or director. It's only the Scots that get upset about it, hence why they often get called bitter.
PS, He is British number 1 and I'm sure he's happy of the fact too

Watching the replay now online, impressed with how much Murray's game seems to have come on since last season, he's definitely increased the agressive side of his play.
I hope he starts the final well, presumably it'll be against Fed - he'd obviously lost their US Open final by the end of the first set, really needs to stick with him this time.I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?

Murray will be hoping Fed starts the way he did the other day, slowly. If this is the case Murray has more in his locker to punish him and try and keep it that way.
However, Fed showed the other day that he can turn it on pretty quickly and when he does he becomes so hard to beat. I have begun to warm to Murray a bit, don't like his interview today saying he can win it. I know he can and he needs to be confident, just IMO you don't get to speak and act like that until you have won the biggest events.
Sometimes looking at Murray's interviews you would think he has won it all, where as Fed gets such a following because I do believe he is quite humble and respectful. Murray may be, but doesn't all come across that way in the press.
