if you decided to watch figure skating, there's no helping you

the biathlon's very interesting, so is cross country skiing, not to mention ski-jumping and ice-hockey which is the cream of any olympics.

anyways the point of the olympics is to watch sports you wouldn't normally watch on other occasions

maybe, but olympics are very interesting because there is always some surprise, and for many, olympic medal means everything in their life

she showed real character there, but some might call it madness. after falling three meters down the pitt onto rocks, breaking 4 ribs and punkturing her lungs. any other day she'd be straight to the hospital, and i only hope there's no long term damage...

I'm enjoying the bits of it I'm seeing, especially loving the Ski Cross stuff - talk about entertainment!

The women's stuff last night was not only spectacular but the Spanish participant made me literally cry with laughter her race was that funny.

All ski events should have multiple competitors fighting it out on the mountain IMO

She was hilarious from start to finish - on that second "wu-tang" she literally just went splat into it - brilliant stuff!

Wish I'd seen this ski-cross lark, everyone's talking about it.

Caught the curling last night between GB and Sweden. What a ****ing dull and pointless 'sport' that is! Strangely gripping though and I watched it all

I was going to comment on that - it must be a real struggle for the commentators to try and sound enthusiastic

Watched the first two "ends" before giving it up - it is strangely gripping you're right but why, why, why is Steve Cram the main commentator?! And why the hell did they drag Paula Radcliffe into it?!

You missed a treat with the ski cross - might still be on iPlayer though which you can watch on telly through your Wii

Said exactly the same to the wife about Cram and Radcliffe, they were as clueless as I was. The "action replays" were hilarious - close ups of the two 'brushes' frantically sweeping away
