    Thank god for F1...

watching it atm on the red button. My favorite team/driver (Alonso and Ferrari) are doing well! Just what I needed to forget about football!

    Anyone else into F1?

This won't last long here but I gave up on F1 shortly after Damon Hill won the title.

Reminds me of Liverpool - going round and round in circles without getting anywhere

The race is in my country , i went the first year when the track was opened and last year.. its a nice event but no one actually watches the race. people just stay at the festival there and guys flirt with girls and show off their cars in the parking lot of the tower there.. tickets are reletacliy cheap over there.

LFC is sponsoring a formula one car, it's got Rafa's effigy on it.

F1 is even more boring than sitting in a completely empty white room for 24 hours with nothing to do. Utter ****. What's it doing in this forum anyway?

Sort of LFC related in the fact it is being used to forget about recent things on the pitch!

Nah, this should be in General Sports. But yes, I'm hoping Alonso wins this year.

i shall move this too general sports - other than the the first 30 seconds when they starta nd you might see a few crashes in general F1 is pretty dull - that said i have always watched the final parts of the race that decides the champion but thats more because i am sports fan and like to see these things -
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

                  You like Ferrari? Arghhh.

Mclaren all the way, with Hamilton and Button - my two favourite drivers my choice is clear.

Also, i hate ferrari and i hate alonso, oh and schumacher.

                    Mclaren for me too

I like Hamilton and fear he will thrash Button but if I was honest I would prefer Button to be the more succesful of the 2.

Also despite despising Schumi for large parts of his early career I find myself hoping he comes back and wins the championship again!

I think its gearing up to be the best F1 season for many a year.

Don't know much bout F1 but do guys like Trulli, Barrichelo, Senna, Glock have no chance at all on sunday? I take it their cars aren't up to much?

First race was boring, the slower driving gets on my nerves with the 2minute laps.

Thank God for the most boring piece of sport I think I've ever seen!

I actually watched the first half of that before, inevitably, I fell asleep.

                              Funny how that always happens.
                              .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.
