England v Pakistan Test Series starts today at Trent Bridge.

I fancy England to win 2-1 (with 1 drawn match) and am expecting an exciting series.

Collingwood seems to have dismissed the Pakistan bowling attack, but you can never predict what Pakistan will do. If the conditions are suited for a bit of swing, they will cause the England batsmen serious problems. Only thing is the Pakistan batting line up is so brittle right now and I just do not see them doing very well against the England bowling attack.

It will be interesting to see how many Tests actually last the full 5 days!

Yeah should be a good series mate, looking forward to it. I fancy England 2-0.

Overcast conditions give the Pakistani bowlers some hope but it could be a hard days toil by the look of it.

Yes that's exactly what I do. I firmly believe that because my Australian mates act and think a certain way, then every single member of the Australian population must be exactly the same.

What I also love is some Australians inability to take a bit of ribbing after years and years of dishing it out. Boot's on the other foot = you whinge like hell about everything coming your way.

It's true though. I practically grew up with my dad telling me that Aussies were pricks and I can use their sporting personalities as a guideline to that. I thought there were some common traits between them that I met few and far between and it was a bit of a piss take too. Then I went to live in Sydney, Jesus Christ a great deal are insuffarable. Suddenly the over patrism, the Kewell worshipping etc made sense.

Obviously nothing against the Aussies here pulling your legs a bit because it's actually a very nice place if you can handle the heat. Although it's easy to understand why outsiders take pleasure in seeing Australia lose sporting events.

Oh and regarding this match surprised by the dryness of the pitch. Looking forward to seeing kaneria bowl in it tomorrow. Both teams have fairly good bowling attcks but are pretty **** with the bat, should be a good contest.

Yeah I agree whilst pakistan are normally **** at test cricket I think these games could turn out to be pretty entertaining. Both are aggressive teams, I think we'll see plenty of good bowling
