My feelings for him have nothing to do with what others are said to think. I don't like him whether he's well liked in the game or not.

John Lowe owns a pub and when he's not being exceedingly miserable he's quite forthcoming about stuff inside the game.

on Taylor he is clearly the best and probably by a mile still.

i am not sure where i stand tbh. the things he says do sound humble but i dont always believe that he is. so sitting on the fence really.

one thing he is right about though is the amount of practice required to get to his level.

And yep, The Unicorn Tavern. He's had it for years and used to have some good exhibitions on, Bobby George, Lazarenko and others would turn up. Not Bristow though

And like I said before, that makes him a sanctimonious cunt. How others go about their business is **** all to do with him. I suspect it's one of the reasons he's so unpopular.

And as for his incessant celebrity name-dropping...

Aye, he worked hard to get darts back on the world stage, and he wants it to stay there....people want to not only watch great showmen, they want to watch good darts too...it's all good being Jackpot Lewis or Hawaii 501, but in the end, it all comes down to darts....so practise you ****s, and make your darts as good as the persona, otherwise people will soon be tired of you...that's his attitude and i agree with it.

And the name dropping...is it name dropping when these people are your mates and are there to watch you?
