I do agree, but in the case of Amir I now feel that at 18 years of age this punishment might not be fair. He is a naive, stupid kid whose head was turned, and the other older players should be held responsible for corrupting him.

I agree that the whole Board and structure of the game out in Pakistan needs to be cleared out and renewed. BUT, the players must also take responsibility.

Personally I would love to see Imram Khan appointed as the Head of the PCB, but his political interests mean that is unlikely.

The problem is that we have a generation of corruption in the game, from the days of Wasim and Waqar this **** went on, and these new young players are just introduced into the same methods.

Maybe there is a way of forgiving and moving on, but I really would not know how or where to start so that Pakistan cricket can recover from this.

I don't know what the solution is but this problem has existed for the last 20 years and will continue to exist in my opinion. The article I posted has a lot of truths in it though. Bollocks. You can't go and ban an 18 year old kid forever just for bowling a few no balls. He's new on the scene and he's just gone and done what his captain told him to do. Again you have to show some understanding that these guys are barely paid £15k a year and are playing against guys earning £200k a year. On an international level its hardly fair is it? Even more so that they aren't able to play internationals at home and are not allowed to cash in on the IPL like the english and the aussie players do.

Why not - He's took money for himself and in essence cheated. Its irrelevant if he is paid £15k a year or £1m a year. On one hand if you don't ban him and give him a smack on the wrists' it will allow other to take advantage.
